https://nairametrics.com/2020/03/21/covid-19-list-of-pharmaceutical-firms-that-will-receive-grants-from-the-cbn/

The chosen ones: Some of the pharmaceutical companies listed by the CBN Governor are Fidson Healthcare Plc, May and Baker Plc, Neimeth International Plc, Unique Pharma, Swiss Pharma, Dana Pharma, Orange Drugs, Sagar, GSK, Emzor Pharmaceuticals. Mr Emefiele also mentioned that the list was not exhaustive as more companies could also benefit.

Pharmaceutical companies are going bullish

Thank you, I like this your point. I think it has been the reason Elon Musk has been gyrating. They really want to phase out fossil use.

How I wish our government can use this oil crisis to think deep and empower our own "Elon Musks" (Innoson Motors, Coscharis and anyone else in the automobile industry) to start working on electric cars and bio-fuel engines.

The world can clearly see that oil is not going to be sustainable 15-20 years from now!

Na them and remote service providers dey shine for US stocks this season.
Maybe as NAFDAC just approved the manufacture of chloroquine drugs in Nigeria to fight covid-19, its their turn here too.

STANBIC: Please our people chip in on Stanbic? Its price and PE are at their lowest ever as at Friday. It looked attractive to me until a quick research shows that Lady Lilian Esiri, one of the bank's directors, recently sold some of her shares. I remembered Higwe's Access shares sale and developed cold feet. I will appreciate urgent insights or info I have not factored in. Pa Ewumi et al

Neimeth has been on full bid for about 7 trading days now. I think i know why but not sure yet. angry

Is the money from CBN in form of grants or advance payment for drug purchase?

With Lagos alone receiving N1bn from UBA alone, and all the grants and donations pouring in from Tinubu N200m, Atiku N50m, BUA chairman N1bn, WHO and Fed, you will expect most of it going into the healthcare sector.

Manufacturers of medical products will benefit from the chunk of these largess.
Maybe 2020 is the resurrection year for the likes of GSK.

I hope people will understand that GSK is already winding down its business in Nigeria. Focus should really be on May n Baker and Fidson

Hello Gurus,

Any recommended platform to buy US stocks from Nigeria?

I already know of Bamboo and Trove.

Need to try out other options, doesn’t matter if they require direct USD deposition.

Thanks
