Oh well, that's what I have and I'm considering using it for the business. Thanks anyways

It’s highly advisable not to use the lexus if you want to drive long hours i.e if you’re doing it full time.

no vex that 4k Mobil is not Mobil 1 its Mobil xhp apapa wit Api SL its use for heavy duty engine or older engines. Your dad engine is XV30 engine produced 2001-2006 and this is definitely an Api SL, the best recommended oil for the car is 5W-30 api SL. The SL grade oil are mostly part/semi/blend synthetic they are cheaper and mostly cost around 6.5k to 12.5k depends on the brands and Location of where they import from.. Bad Engine oil won't harm your engine immediately( not a shap shap process), but slow and steady. The best you can do is follow manufacturer recommended engine oil viscosity and the Api..

I don't just recommend oil for customers, I give them the best and I can't tell you 20w50(multitrade) is engine killer because its same as SAE 50(monograde) uses by Danfo and other heavy duty engines or racing engines that are always on motion..
pls which engine oil would be best for Honda city doing uber

What if you don't get a good driver?

You have to design this plan for the "Worst scenario"

That 1 million seems like a whole chunk of your savings. Thread carefully before you invest.

You sef know how this business be grin

Boss, as per me o, if I had 800k - 1m , na to gradually move away from the Uber/ BOlt thing.

A whole shocked 800k to buy a second hand car and put it again under the SLAVE MASTERS grin ( Uber n BOlt)

A car under UBER N BOLT is not an ASSET.

It keeps deprecating week in week out.

Heck, the system is highly volatile and unpredictable,

Look at, these two weeks now, it means zero returns on investment.

Look @ guys DT used financing to buy their cars, is that not trouble.

I will advice u invest the money elsewhere.
And if u still feels like investing on ehailing. Why nigerian used car? Why not add up to it to get cheaper cars ( 1.1m)that can easily get u back ur capital within one year? Carshopper Rio and honda civic are options

whats else can one do. Don’t know any other biz. Don’t want a biz that would require my presence cos I also drive on Uber and have one other biz I do. Just want to diversify for extra income by the side. If u have a better idea I’ll be glad to learn.

Broz, this advice might sound odd. Seems you just want to tie the money down on a good project rather than spending it anyhow.

Why dont you buy land and forget it?

Not necessary in lagos, you might buy in your village/home town and just forget it.

You already drive on the platform and have anothe side job, dont throw away that money by investing in another biz u don't know anything about.

Good luck.

Source for a product that you know works well, the product be that common, it might be locally made, just know it works well, then you can run a facebook ads which is the best of all ads, mind you, you can buy the product for 500 and sell for 15k! Believe me bro facebook ads is the best, no one will argue about the price cos it's a product they don't know about or they see any where or jumia, Or I can give u sites and maybe u can order fees goods to naija and sell some car stuffs which you know it's not in Nigeria using facebook ads to sell, imagine having like 200 orders in a month and making like at least 10k profit , this is possible with facebook ads. For example look at this ads of someone selling this head lamp stuff https://www.facebook.com/hiteestore/videos/573017120097686/ imagine the views and comment

Im in full support of the land purchase as advised by peeps4u. Then use whatever remains to buy different policy packages in leadway assurance or any other insurance companies that have good policies.
You will get your money back after 5 years with interest depending on the kind of policy u are running with them. This will not take ur driving time.

Mistakes are the raw materials you need to succeed, so pray for the awakening of your eyes of understanding.....

Before investing your savings on a Nigerian abused car and beliving God for a perfect driver you have to consider the following;
- Risk of buying a bodyworked salvage car
- Irrespective of how good the driver is he/she can't prevent damage to the car.
- No matter how much you pray it's your responsibility to plan (risk assessment), because you can only reap whatever you sow in the business.
- The only business best for perfect people (those that can't afford to make mistakes) is a fixed-deposit.

I would love to say more if need be. I wish you success.
