ok, thanks. I was able to buy, well I assume I did. What is the meaning of limit, I left it at 11.70 even though on the market trades i see 11.65.

Another thing, I went to market trades section looking for my trade and couldn't see any matching trade(38k units). Anyway, on the order - Buy section my buy detail is highlighted in green.
Oh! You bought higher nah. Why not ask before clicking "submit" button? It was currently selling for 11.50.....but still okay anyway.
* "Limit" allows you to put the price you wish to buy or sell yourself while "Market" will automatically input the "previous closing price".
* You may not be able to identify you transaction(s) on the "Market Trade" cos it shows all market transactions as it's been carried out.
* When it shows green under the "Order" it means your trade has been executed already. Yellow shows its on queue. Light green shows its half-executed.

Its beginning to happen......

Bomboclad:
We are heading for an ASI low of 20,000 which is where we got to during the 2008 financial crisis. I expect the high CAP stocks like DangCem, BUA, MTNN, etc to take us there by end of this week or early next week. Most stocks have taken huge beatings and are close to their all time lows. Lets be hopeful as the aim is to make money; nothing else!

When is FCMB releasing their dividends? If I buy into their stocks one day ahead of their release will I get such shares? Thanks
No dividend info yet. It will be posted here once it's out. They're paying 14kobo per share.
Why not start queuing for it at below 1.50 now, maybe some panic sellers will come to the market? This way you'll get it at a bargain price and at a better junction.
Waiting till a day to qualification date may make you buy it a bit higher, all things being equal.
To me, 1.50 is not bad for it but with the prevailing situation, no one can say for sure whether it has bottomed out at that price.

Remember this is just my opinion. Mr. Market decides market direction. smiley

I have seen my trade on the "market trades", I pinpointed it with time of trade.

I actually got it at 11.65, I checked. Can I request for some form of certificate assuming I want to hold it mid to long term?

Thank you.

11.65 you mean.
No need to request for any certificate in my opinion, you will see it in your statement of account, account summary, buy/sell contract notes by end of trading period today.
Good you were able to see your trade in "market trade". It will appear in the docs listed up here too, which are more of proof of purchase.

FBNH has donated more than N1B for covid in cash and kind. This is a company that pays trash as dividend.

Do they know what their aged shareholders are going through is far worse than this ordinary catarrh?
How can a company that pays peanuts as dividend, which actually paid 26k last year be coughing out Over N1B for Corona?
Is Corona a shareholder here?

Live trade is a page where you can:
* Watch what's going on in the market by yourself.
* Check bid/offer volume for each stock by clicking on the particular stock.
* Execute your trades i.e. you can buy, sell, cancel or modify a trade order.

Oga please calm down. Do not sell anything ooooo. No one knows the bottom of this game yet. Will the Banks CEOs and top management staff agree to a cut in their salaries and allowances. Will the CBN be ready to reduce the charge for AMCON levy?

The more reason we preach against LONG TERM INVESTMENT in NSE.

Most CEOs of Nigerian public quoted coys are so rurhless they always looking for avenue to shortchange the minority shareholders.

You ought to follow your Investments bumper to bumper and forcefully collect your profit at any given opportunity.
