When I was doing my ND, there is this girl I fell in love with but never gave me the opportunity to be in her life. She had 2 close friends, I later became close friends with the muslim one and causal with the christian one.

5 years after we left school I reconnected with d Christian lady lets call her Mary. She needed help on how to defer her NYSC for a particular stream, from facebook we took it to watsapp and have being really close friends since then.

We talk about issues we face in life and share everything amongst us. One day during the course of sharing, she said that she is single and hasnt been in any relationship for a long time at her age, I was really surprised because she is light skin, beautiful and tall.

I didnt want to beam my serach light on that area of her life so, I just let it slide but I kept thinking about it. The more we did chat the more my feelings for her grew, at a point I had to stay away from her for a long time. Just hi and hello once in a while

This lockdown has got us gisting like old times, talking about her plans and all. Shes serving in Ibadan but lives here in Lagos.

The issue is she might be the same age with me or a year older but she is very respectful, she adds d Sir title when we chat, "good morning Sir" "thank you Sir for the other day". It really blows my mind away anytime she does such.

She's also a very fire power and prayer member, she takes her Christianity very seriously, I'm just there.

She fits the bill really, I know everything about her except her love life, and I dont want to break or spoil this friendship we have going on.

Should I take the risk and ask her out?

She's currently in Lagos with her mum because of d lockdown but wants to eagerly get back to Ibadan to make money where she is working. She wants to start a small biz and I helped her with the name, an issue she's been battling for months.

Bro. You shouldn't let this pass you by. If you're sure about ur feelings for her then you shouldn't be scared to tell her about it . Good luck

You never know until you try, so give it a shot.

She might also like you but waiting for you to make a move.

Make the move, and if she says no, life goes on. You guys can still remain strictly platonic friends.

What about the risk of loosing the friendship if she doesn't feel that way?
