That’s very Absurd to kill such a wild life...the generation of this species are going Tom extinction...you should have driven the snake away...in a western world...this is definitely a life sentence for this heartless killer...

Hence, it is a venomous snake.

Thanks for this, so when next I see snake, I will look at its belly to know if it is venomous or not before I kill it

This is difficult and not advisable as a way of telling snakes apart.

Rather, recognise them by their heads. Venomous snakes have triangular heads while non venomous snakes have, oval, round heads.

nope it's not.. gaboon viper is one of the most poisonous snake in the world.. their population should be put in check.. whenever a viper snake is killed.. it's always a gaboon viper.. this very kind of snake killed a little boy in my area last week.. the parents were ignorant thinking they could handle the situation with local herbs until it was too late
