We have told him. He MUST live in Nigeria. His salary will be in Naira. He must go around the leagues and see how he can nurture the players. If he is able to accept it, we have a deal. There are a lot of coaches that want to coach Nigeria - @PinnickAmaju on @thenff Gernot Rohr

ARISE News

As a National team coach, most of the conditions are understandable, the only part that seem crazy is that part that says he will be paid in Naira. Like WTF!!! Shey na Naira he will be spending in his home in France or what. He's an expatriate na. It is is standard practice to pay expatriate in Dollars
Make NFF kuku face the man and tell him his services are no longer needed rather than yarning dust

If he's living in Nigeria, Why then is he spending in USD?

His country don't even spend USD but EUR.

Those working abroad, are you being paid in foreign currency or your host country's currency?

So what is the issue here?

What reasonable condition? Can't he get a coach to scout the local leagues, the coach doesn't want to leave in Nigeria why force him?

Naira is a weightless currency that amounts to nothing when taken abroad, they want to con him of his salaries.

Stay in Nigeria and nuture players Every country is picking their best players and we want the national team coach to sit in Nigeria and nuture players.

It took Keshi 18 months to get some players to a decent level to play for the super eagles. And there was no long term benefit. 18 whole months. And some players ran away at the first chance of a European contract.

Fix the league and you will not need anyone nuturing players. The players will be nutured by their clubs.

that screenshot you posted do you know anambra beneficiaries received there's too? please there are many things to criticize this govt with not misinformation or half truth

How much was shared in Anambra State?

How many people have come out in Anambra to say they were paid?

Why start in states with no confirmed cases?

Why share money in states that are not on lockdown where life is still going on as usual while people are going hungry in affected states?

How many people are in these states that's they've shared 3billion already?

Do you know that Lagos State has done more than the federal government in this fight against covid-19?

Some people may choose to believe the federal government scam, but they cannot fool everyone.

The conditions stated didn't say he MUST use local players, so he's not being forced to use them but at least give them a fighting chance by not completely writing them off. How is this a bad thing? fix the league, fix the league, with a magic wang? is this not part of it? when local players know they have a fighting chance of making the NT, they will work harder and some investors will also look the league way due to the fact that any club they invest in may likely get good fortunes if their players make it to the NT.

SIMPLE!

The Naira fluctuates and the NFF want to take the safer option of paying in Naira. Hope you know the players requested to be paid in Dollars rather than Naira

So because the nonsense has been going on mean it should continue. why earn in another man's currency in another man's land where you work? do you know the pressure it puts on your own currency? he should earn in the amount the money he's paid with is earned. those sponsors earn in Naira and do business within Nigeria in Naira. the govt that gives money to NFF also gives them in naira. He can go to change it in the bank to any currency he wants just like others do when he wants it sent to his country.

We take too many nonsenses in this country.

please don't mind some of them here

they lack knowledge of how this FG have been misruling this country or they wanna bootlick the government

just imagine it would take the government months to distribute mere PVCs but when It comes to money this government said it gives out the sum of 20k to 2.6M households under 72 hours and some persons here are trying to justify it to be true

just see recently the government of CHAD dealing massively with boko haram same terrorists our government have been given amnesty and have left our soldiers at their mercy killing them in scores every time
even the General who made a video of not having enough weapons despite the huge sum the government claimed to have spent on weapons the man was removed immediately and watch some foolish Nigerians will still defend the government in that light

I have said it the likes ameachi, fashola, osibanjo and even the Lagos state governor will do better than the president with all due respect.

The same thing again..

If you think governance is easy, why don't you join politics and contest for your LGA chairmanship?

sorry to say this sir...

you should be ashame of yourself for asking me that naughty question.

let me tell you this....just the fact that some peeps chosed not to be deceived and always voice out the truth and take a stand against bad governance does not mean they should be asked to via for the seat of power

not everyone will be in governance but the few who finds their way there should do the right thing and not go there live on treasury and neglect their primary respect.

hope you've seen how the government of CHAD is tackling boko haram to the extent that the boko haram commander now turns to an inspirational speaker

you should take time visit front page and read reasonable news and read views of knowledgable folks with all due respect sir please don't mean to insult you....it seems when it comes to governance and politics you really need to learn much.

rather than tackle what I said to b true or not you're telling me to go contest all because you're comfortable in mediocrity and also quoting me to see what's happening in the Uk must you compare yourself with less of them and take it as your best

please I don't really insult you...please don't take it in that light...just hate when we shy away from the truth

No,I don't get it .. explain how mass testing will be done without the lockdown...

You just applauded south Africa for their effort, yet South Africa itself is on a 21 days lockdown. And they are even planning to extend it to another 21 days..

How can Nigeria conduct mass testing please ??

and ever since the lockdown commenced

has the FG starts the mass testing

what's the essence of lockdown without mass testing and proper enlightenment in local dialects from major areas to another and the religious leaders and place of worship constantly checked the mosque kind of far from my house a little here in Abuja still holds prayers clustered in hundred I saw it yesterday with my eyes
why arrest pastors if the Imams will be allowed to hold worships and about two cases have been confirmed there already..

you don't lock people at home with no palliative measures for 21 days and still no mass testing and no proper enlightenment because not everyone can read the NCDC text messages if we wanna employ the other measures of those with symptoms call the NCDC hot lines

most peeps still don't believe and don't even know about it especially in core north

and even those locked at home see it a fruitless venture no palliatives, no mass testing and all hunger is making lot leave their house already to go hurstle

abeg Africa seems not to be ready at all.

Will seek solace in SEUN OSEWA THREAD ON CONVID-19 some days ago when it likened the rapid spread to temperature being experienced in the temperate regions from the write up it shows the reason for the low spread yet in Nigeria is because of the high degree celcus we are currently having and may change during the rainy season

Reasonable conditions unless these are not all

Unreasonable conditions that lack any sense of rationality and understanding of national football team progression.

It is not the duty of the national team coach to nurture players. It is his duty to select the best players at his disposal and get the best winning team he can.

It's what players do in thier respective league and clubs with consistent, top class and outstanding performances. That's what gets you selected.

If our league is below par and filled with old men claiming to be young boys as many have claimed here. It's not the national team coaches job to fix it.

From what l have gathered the local youth academies seem to be more promising than the league. According to many here once again.

Now we come back to the core purpose of the national team, " To win tournaments and games"

The best Nigerian players do not play in Nigeria but Europe that's just reality. So why should he spend most of his time in Nigeria.

Amaju who is talking how many times a year does he come to London.

This is subterfuge and snacks of hidden agendas and behind it all is the issue of £££€€€$$$.

furthermore, if Nff decides they want to put the equotion right, so be it, or are you the one paying the coach

If you think governance is easy, why don't you join politics and contest for your LGA chairmanship?

I could take you up on that proposition.

The system is rigged with systemic deep rooted corruption and and sharp practices. To be a politician in Nigeria you have to literally sell your soul to the devil.

The second MAJOR PROBLEM is that the electorate currently do not think that integrity, truth, righteousness and honesty are attributes that are essential for political office.

That's why a confirmed and convicted corrupt former governor who pleaded guilty in UK court is welcomed back to Delta state like someone who has been given a knight hood by the Queen or more. I am Talking about Ibori.

The reality is if he could contest for governor of Delta state, he would probably win. That shows the perversity of our politics and the electorate.

We have a very long way too go.

As it stands it's considerably easier for me to contest to become an MP in the UK parliament than it is for me to contest state house of assembly in my own state.

If he can't "nurture" players as the head coach/general manager like Bonfere Jo, Westerholf and co did, he should hit the highway. He's not being forced to take it.

Too many partiality for anything not black in this damn country!

He's been working on his terms for 3 years, so he's in a better position to know if this is okay by him or not. He's been given a week to review the contract.
