Logistic officer is not on the ANZSCO list. I will advise that you got through the list for an occupation that is closely related. What about your spouse?

It is a long process for lawyers. You need to be called to bar in any of the Jurisdictions before you can go through the process.

1. My spouse(m) is the lawyer, he has worked as a councillor and a Personal Assistant(which I saw on the occupation list), can he assess for these occupations with his Law certificate since it's difficult to assess as a Barrister/Solicitor.

2. I am an administrative officer(basically the job of human resource/personnel) in a federal polytechnic, my first degree was in political science from a private uni (the school was closed down after some years) the certificate can't be verified. Went to NOUN for primary education (2020). I have 12years experience

Please re-examine my case

Thank you so much for this response.
I'll assess as Recruitment consultant and work for higher IELTS.

uote author=tunlex01 post=88113149]

You should read the AIM website for more details. If you are not a Senior manager in the real sense directly reporting to the Managing Director of your organization, please don't waste funds assessing as HRM.

You can check the following occupations on the list
Human Resource Adviser
Recruitment Consultant
Workplace Relations Adviser

Due to your first degree from NAU, you can't assess with that only with Vetassess else, it will be a negative assessment. You will need to add your MSc, however only experience after the date on your Msc certificate will be approved by Vetassess.

For your spouse, he should check the following occupations and go with the one that best fit his occupation. The earlier he does that, the better
1. other Spatial scientist
2. Earth Science technician

What month is his 45th birthday?

You as the PA
Age: 25
Edu: 15
Exp: 0
Eng: 10
Spouse: 10
Total: 60

Your spouse as the PA
Age: 15
Edu: 15
Exp: 15
Eng: 10 (tentatively)
Spouse: 10 (this point is awarded if you choose occupation on the same list and you have a positive assessment)
Total:65

The points above does not include state nomination points for 190 or 491.

You both can also work on getting 20 points in PTE.

Good luck[/quote]

Boss @bellong, I have a query for you;

A couple currently onshore has been invited to apply for PR. The wife is about 3 weeks due to having a baby. Should they proceed to lodge the PR and add the baby afterward or wait to have the baby and apply for the PR thereafter?

Thanks
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ajayidebo: 10:13am On Apr 09, 2020
I suppose you'll have to look for other alternatives.

An occupation may be on the list and not sponsored by any state. Before you do any assessment, ensure there is a state sponsoring the occupation.

To answer your question, if a state is sponsoring the occupation, your spouse can apply.

Hello friends, pls guys help me evaluate my profile for Australian PR visa subclass 190
Here are my details

1. B.A English Literature
2002-2006 4yrs course

2. School: Usmanu Danfodio University sokoto

3. No Masters

4. Work experience: Hotel Manager

8 yrs from 2006- 2014

5. No ielts yet

6. Single( divorced with a child 4 yrs old)

7. Age: 35yrs

I want to be sure before paying for ielt and vetasses assessment. Thank you very much

Hotel manager is a skill level 2 occupation so your degree should fly, however due to its non-relevance to the occupation, some years may be removed.

To assess as HM with Vetassess, you must be able to prove your managerial role over ALL affairs of the hotel and not just one section of the hotel. Ensure your job descriptions are closely aligned. Also note that Vetassess can only approve experience gotten in the last 10 years which means only experience from 2010 will count.
Start preparing for PTE and aim for 20 points. There are no guarantees in this journey, so the earlier you start the better.

Your estimated points should be
Age: 25
Edu: 10
Exp: 0
Eng: 20 (compulsory --due to loss of experience point)
Single: 10
total: 65

Ensure you have all divorce documents finalised and custody papers for your child before you apply for visa.

Also, 190 is very tough to get at the moment. The criteria may be less stringent in July but keep your options open for 491 too.

Check the occupation list to determine which occupation you want to nominate. There are few occupations you can nominate with your experience and Masters degree ; just that the experience point is zero.

Post the occupation(s) you want to nominate. English test is compulsory for assessing bodies for all the social work occupations.

Hello Good People,

Is there chances for visa subclass 190 with the following information:

Age - 36 yrs

Qualification - Mechanical Engr. (B.Tech)

Work Experience: 3Yrs work experience as a Logistics officer 2014 - 2017

Married ( 2 kids)

No IELTS yet, just about to start the whole journey

Thanks in anticipation.

you can assess as a Mechanical engineer. Just do the educational assessment without the RSEA since you dont have a related experience.
Possibility of getting 190 with zero experience is super low. If you can get 20 points in English language, then you can proceed with EA and lean towards 491 if it's available for nomination.

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by ajayidebo: 7:38pm On Apr 10, 2020
Your profile is good. The next step is to do assessment and in your case, write another English Test. What you have presently is 0 point. You should try PTE-A for 20points (i.e. >79 in all bands). Your visa options ranges from 189, 190 and 491. You have a lot of options depending on your overall points.

What's the course of study for your MSc and PhD? Also, what do you lecture?

I've attached VETASSESS information sheet on assessment as University Lecturer for your perusal. Please go through it thoroughly. What I can't advice is whether your should use your MSc so that you can gain more points in experience, or use your PhD for higher points in qualifications. @tunlex01 will assist you with any missing information necessary when he's chanced.

You should also check if your spouse occupation is available for assessment. The English test alone will give you extra 5 points. If he can do assessment for his occupation, you'll get 10 points in total.

You'll have to provide the following information for proper assessment.

Age: 32 ✔️

Edu: BLS library and information Science (from which university and how many years is the course of study?) ❌

Exp: 9 years in total (what exactly is your occupation?) Banking experience is vague. Also, note that your occupation must be on ANZSCO occupation list. So, you have to go through the list and check for that occupation that relates to what you do. ❌

Eng: yet to write ✔️

Relationship: Single ✔️

You can apply for Pharmacy Technician. BTW, you do have a chance for 491. Before the lock down, Northern Territory was accepting nomination for 491. NSW is also accepting but with minimum of 5 years work experience under stream 2.

Quick questions:

1. What year did you attain your BSc (what University/number of years) and Msc?
2. Work experience is from what year?
