Yes, except when the credit is less than #10k or when you send money from one of your account to another. You pay #50 naira stamp duty for every credit that is up to #10k or more.
Please I would like to clarify... When you say send money from one of my account to another... Assuming I have Access bank and Union Bank, if I'm to send #10,000 or more from my Union to Access, does it mean the stamp duty won't be deducted? Or your words mean two accounts within same bank. Thanks

As long as the BVN is the same you won't pay stamp duty.

Most of the MMF rates now revolves around 5 to 6%+ and TBills is even lower across all tenors, it’s an economic reality. MMF is SEC regulated and very safe. If you want higher returns it means you must do riskier investment. So, if you are risk averse don’t complain just make do with the current rates while hoping for better rates when things improves and policy favors.

In addition, I will recommend you look the way of another form of mutual fund called Guaranteed income fund VGIF, it’s also for risk averse folks, another advantage is that the rate is guaranteed, and interest earned daily like MMF. Principal and interest of 8.5% is guaranteed.

I don't know about that but I have 2 Fidelity bank accounts, both savings. I also have 2 GTB savings (from different branches). But one of the savings, my individual Dorm and Corporate accounts are in the same branch.

Maybe the elephant is tired of eating. I suggest you send a mail to their Customer care online.

Good morning guys.
What do you foresee will happen to luxury businesses even after ease of lockdown and even an end to this pandemic?
I don't see it picking up immediately and might even extend to the last quarter of the year or perhaps next year for it to rebound succesfully.
I am in it myself and the kind complains that one gets,it seem like there isn't any serious hope till next year perhaps...
Experts,I humbly ask for your analyses.
Cc emmanuelewumi, ahiboilandgas, ogogorfreak and all others I fail to mention.
