So i have 4 admissions and im trying to decide on which to go for, i would appreciate any insight as regards, job opportunities during study and after studies, living expenses and other relevant info. My first choice is Hertfordshire, but the fee is double of the others....lol Please see the schools below;

De Montfort University - MSc Advanced Biomedical Science - 1yr
University of Hertfordshire - MSc Nursing (Adult) - 2yrs
Teesside University - Master of Public health (Applied) - 2yrs
Birmingham City University - Master of Public health - 1yr

Ye, very possible. If you are married or have an understanding spouse, you are good to go. Getting tier 4 dependant is another opportunity for your spouse to work full time in UK while you are studying and be able to support you. I have friends here working minimum 55 hours per week to assist their spouse by setting up a monthly direct debit from their bank account to pay school fees, while the spouse works 20hours per week to pay for just house rent and other Bills.

Some people with trusted partner did a low key registry wedding before leaving Nigeria just to bring their spouses here with tier 4 dependant visa and be able to work full time. But it's very risky I must confess, everyone will claim to love you once abroad is involved but on getting here, they changed to another person. I have read and heard so many bad and good stories associated with that route, So many divorcee and unhappy home as a result of dependant visa. Not to scare you but just saying the reality of life. May God help you .

Told her thank you very much but no because I know people that have done it and life became miserable for them. The lady might be threatening you with divorce if you don’t do certain things for her, even after you don pay her before oh. You know Nigerians like to exercise power too much

You are correct but i find this instance minimal as it would be difficult to convince visa officers on such marriages aiming to bring in a dependant spouse. Those guys are very particular about subsisting relationships.

Looking for someone to marry within a very short time just to get dependant visa may not be really feasible.

Dependant visas are NOT automatic. They are given on the condition of a genuine relationship and the Home Office has means of verifying this. If you get married to someone right before they ask for a Tier 4 visa in order to add you as their dependant, it is very likely that the visa will be denied!

The Home Office will usually seek proofs of a genuine relationship dating back to at least 2-3 years before the date the Tier 4 visa is applied, and you will have to prove it.

I am saying this because even if you paid the said lady 2m, it is highly likely that you would not have gotten the visa.

Finally, marriage visas in the UK have the same condition; prove of a genuine relationship of at least 2-3 years

Have admission in a relative cheap good school such as Salford (which further gives 3000 discount or 5000 discount for Nigerians), BCU ( which gives discount to 2.1 student), UCB uk, Teeside, Sheffield Hallam( which further gives 3000 discount for Nigerians) and many more.

Unless you are going to Cambridge or Oxford, ranking means nothing especially for international students for employment.

Thank God you did not accept. What she can also do is that after you are in the UK, she can lie that you are violent and maltreating her then divorce you.

She then becomes officially single and will also receive benefits from the government. You will be sent packing home as you are only in the UK because you are married.
