There's nothing uncomfortable with it; with time he can always move out when he builds his.

A man with less than 10 million naira , who does not own a house and at least a car has no business getting married.

The only reason your wife should stay in your family house is if you are abroad for something important and you know she has an itchy kitten. That would checkmate her.

Yes, if it is a short term thing.
However, could be longterm if there is no other family member (from man's side) living in the same house.

Rather for the house to just be there empty, the man and his family can occupy and maintain the house.

It's even economical sef.

Upper Middle class and polygamous family.....no but there are some exceptions

Lower Middle class family........no

Where’s self esteem thrown into After living in a family house the next issue is ur wife is not respected or is disrespectful??


In my own opinion renting one room in a different place is more honorable than a duplex in a family house..... in 20 years into the marriage you can never like the story

You can either lift your husband up to become successful or in the other way

I am saying this based on experiences with all this stupid mentality of yours.

If the apartment is good and has a limited privacy and if he is not in a polygamous family house I don't see anything wrong in that

if he lives there your family tend to have more savings and investment to invest in other things
If you force him to rent a house there is tendency of him coming back to that family house

Life is all about stages everybody have been destined to a particular time to become successful in life

You don't need to rush him since he is hard-working and focus then the sky is your limit.

My friend was living in a separate apartment in their family house with lot of privacy however the wife insisted they have to leave the family house for a rented apartment

They got a good apartment for 600,000 per annum
Changed the children school 250,000@2 500,000
The wife rented a shop at 800,000 and stock it with 1,500,000 suming up to 2,300,000

unfortunately for him his business had issues during buhari's tenure because of some strict measures and policy he had lot of debtors owing and were not paying as expected and had a loan to service.

The wife's business was not lucrative because she invested in wall paper which is luxury.
To sum up they are back to the family house right now .
