Why anybody should like you. First remove such mental cobwebs from your mind. You are not a cute baby or a baby animal to be mollycoddled by all.

You say that you are a simple person. To remain a simple and unassuming person in this mad and bad world is a Herculean task. People will not allow you to lead a simple life. They not only make their life complicated and miserable but spoil others life also.

Eat well. Develop good habits. Have a sound physique. Be a voracious reader. Develop a taste for fine arts. Imbibe philosophy and spirituality. All these make you a tough guy. Then you can face the world with courage and confidence.

People then vie with one another to listen to you and also obediently follow you. If you have a compulsive craze to get admired by others, you must have some special qualities and intelligence.


World honours those who honour themselves. Don’t indulge in self-pity. Nobody is perfect in this world. Dunderheads will usually have more courage than a well-read person.

Never forget that this world is ruled by intelligent and Saatvik people who don’t indulge in much fanfare.

People with half-baked knowledge and highly Rajasik qualities will not reach the top. Even if somehow they reach the top, they cannot stay there for long. Coarseness and waywardness do not take one too far. It is civility coupled with intelligence which carries humans to Himalayan heights.
