At the end of the day a deployment is a deployment(whether people think its a waste of money or not), the simple fact that the SANDF can deploy thousands of Troops with armored vehicles across South Africa, supported by numerous aircraft ranging from Oryx, C130, CASA 212 and A109Luh is testament to the logistic and force projection capability of our Defence Force.

Perhaps we should all hit the farm together with our crude oil, so we can stop wasting time, that's the only place we're relevant.

Who here still watches the TV Series "SEAL Team"?



Something in that TV show just makes me feel like somewhere within the cast,producers, advisors, consultants ..etc there is an actual SEALs guy (or former operator) who works closlely with the staff who make this tv show. You can just see it in the series, how the move and the tactics they use when clearing a room, raiding a house, how they set charges on a door or an entry point..... etc
Its not like many other hollywood shows on that front where even a regular guy like me, with no military background, can spot simple mistakes or notice how many of the scenes are too unrealistic in the real world.

Especially season 3,there is real maturity in the quality of work
