FG should enforce a law to enable individuals withdraw part of their pension fund wallet to start other businesses other than dying to leave the money for them. I know quite well those next of kin stuff is stressful.

At this trying time the poor need money.

GUYS, THIS IS IT! COMMUNITY SPREADING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED IN THAT TWEET. I REPEAT, THE VIRUS IS NOW SPREADING IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES - THE LOCK DOWN FAILED.

WHAT THEY WON'T TELL YOU IS THAT THE LOCK DOWN WAS SUPPOSED TO PREVENT COMMUNITY SPREADING, BUT IT FAILED.

IF WE CANNOT MASSIVE TEST (50,000 TEST/DAY) WE CANNOT CONTAIN THE COMMUNITY SPREAD EITHER.

IF WE CANNOT CONTAIN THE SPREAD, WE MIGHT NEVER RETURN TO OUR NORMAL LIVES. GUYS THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET REALLY, REALLY HARD!

More deaths to be recorded.. The only option we have now is to hope that intelligent scientists find a for cure and vaccine ASAP otherwise, I don't see the government curbing the spread soon.
Re: Lagos Confirms 3 Coronavirus Deaths by MYHUBBY: 1:52pm On Apr 18, 2020
if the federal govt was serious, all Nigeria states ought to have been shut down since we recorded 5 cases

shutdown with palliatives to hold everyone for 2weeks. it would have save this money they're spending on isolated centers and other medical equipments

imagine shutting down Nigeria space and state middle of march, give all Nigerians palliatives. by now we would have start business and resume our usual activities while airport remained closed till the affected and high risk countries get themselves

A lot of people don't know the severity of this virus, especially the dumbells that have echoing Audio Virus, and it's a scam in Nigeria, I hope they don't learn the hard way. I really fear for the vulnerable especially the elderly they might mislead into ignoring hygenic practices, this pandemic is potentially capable of turning our health systems into bricks and stones. Stay Safe people!

Why did you shut down international travel? Wasn't it to stop imported case?

Why did you isolate the imported case? Wasn't it to stop the spread?

Why did you lock down the country? Wasn't it to stop it already imported cases from spreading locally?

The worst thing that can happen to a congested place like Lagos is community spreading.

They contacted it looking for food, give them food

They probably contracted it outdoors......

Lagos is determined to top this table with an insurmountable lead.

Meanwhile, I do not understand why a Chief of Staff will leave his responsibilities as Chief of Staff to pursue an electrical contract in Germany.

Who said it just started spreading? Don't you follow the theme of NCDC posting? It has always been that who ever got infected had contact with someone that travelled, or someone that knows someone that travelled, etc.

This is a CONFIRMATION of our suspicion of community spread.

It was always a matter of time before the already infected start infecting others within the community... This is not something strange or unexpected.

What makes you think this is the first of its kind?!..

Wow. NCDC post more details about these people let's know more
It's not all of them that died of coronavirus. Some may be malaria or asthma. You don't know that ncdc are getting funds for this lockdown. They are paid allowance for update and other activities they undertake. So if the lockdown is lifted they may not be getting more money from government, private companies and WHO.

You not only delay the spread you control its randomness.

It hasn't failed.

Ans more importantly; what do you recommend?

When this virus is done with us, we'll be begging Bill Gates for his 666 vaccine.

What are the responsibilities of a chief of staff? Did the chief of staff travel on a private rendezvous or did he not go as assigned by his principal? Or were you unaware he went to negotiate power generating deals with Siemens on behalf of the Nigerian government? Smh

You cannot control randomness in any scenerio, especially not with a virus this infectious and more less a country like Nigeria and a place like Lagos.

The only thing that can help us with what is coming is a vaccine. Trust me. We cannot contain this, even China couldn't and you can see how very very responsive they were - even infringing on human rights just to isolate people.

How can we hope to contain this, when our govt is not very reactive?

What kind of human beings are you in Nigeria?

Is Nigeria the only country with Coronavirus that you must make a conspiracy of its spread?

Up until Abba Kyari succumbed to the virus many of your likes said it didn't exist.

Just pray it doesn't visit your home.
