Successful marriages will never get media attention, it is the bad ones that get attention. Anywhere in the world, being married shows some sort of responsibility on your part. I see married people getting political appointments, being top in many organizations yet someone on nairaland tells me marriage is rubbish. Even if you have baby mama, you will face your own challenges. If you have a good home, going home can refresh your mind after a day's stress. One of the basic needs of human is emotional fulfilment and companionship. A man who has no friends often lives alone and becomes miserable. I've been in a good family setting and I can tell you it's very interesting. We have dogs, we laugh, we play, we fight it's still something I want personally because I know how interesting things can be if you're with the right person. Do not let anyone's personal experience influence your own decisions. Think your own thoughts and stick to your decisions.

remember, marriage aint shiit if a father fails in his responsibilities. many women are married but abandoned by daddy to raise children on their own... like Barak Obama's mom, Jay Z's mom etc... a baby mama isnt married to daddy but so long as he stays in contact and raise the child, they are MUCH better than these married men who abandon their kids.
