I don't think you should renew because it should still be in grace period.But you can confirm by their support center

When did the domain expire? But if I were you, I would find all ways to get that name back at $75 netsol renewal price. After every every, I will still be left with $400+ profit

If it expired on 5th, you have over 10 days. just send a mail or call the support, tell em you would like them to send u the auth code and also unlock the domain for u. Once u receive the code..send to afternic .

It's in grace deletion period, I'm sure Netsol still sends you mails for the renewal of that domain, which they naturally do for every domain owner. So if I were you, I'll stop at nothing in getting that name renewed. Good thing it's not even up to month yet. Log on to your account on Netsol or click on any of the renewal links relating to the domain in your mail and follow the procedure. I've never had to redeem a name, so I can say for certain how it would pan out, but I'm optimistic you'll get it back. Hope it ends in praise. Goodluck man

For Netsol names, so long as it has gone beyond 60days, request for your Auth code & store it. it takes 5days for them to send the code except you call them.

Just sent a mail to them. What of on the afternic end? do I do anything? Their email came in today and im not sure how to respond seeing Im battling with netsol

Oh, never knew. I think it is a standard by icann, so any icann accredited registrar should abide by it. I even wait till after 28 days of expiry to decide whether to renew or not.


He can aswell try to see if they will send him the code, then if it doesn't work. He can move forward to renew at $34.

I would advice that you chat them up(they are very prompt) or better still,Call customer support, they will send the code within few minutes.

Even though your domain name has expired, you still have a window of opportunity to reclaim it. I think you have a month or so.

The $75 is the fee you'll have to pay to reclaim it. Pay it and conclude your transaction.

Don't forget you'll pay Afternic 20% commission and a further $26. That s $110 + $26 = $136. Add the previous $75 you would have paid redeeming your name and it comes to $211. Deduct that from $550 and you have $339 profit. Not bad for this corona hour we dey

You don't need to renew it. Just click on the domain and unlock it then tick request authorization code. you will receive it in three days. On the afternic side, you don't need to do anything. Just supply them the auth code when you have it. Goodluck.
