My fear is that you only find things like this in the West and East of Nigeria. You will hardly see industry in the South and North without government intervention. I'm not referring to billionaire businessmen.

You are letting your emotions rule you. Read my post again.
Perhaps I need to read it a thousand times before I tell you what is clear and visible!

I don't think you know what you writing! I doubt you do!

Tell me what the purpose of the emboldened in your comment is and prove that you are not joining issues with the factory garment the op is talking about here.

This is very good.

But the Aba method of mass production is a more grassroot oriented system where they are neither looking for publicity or government patronage. Those boys down there are producing on their own power, braving every challenge and getting better at everything they set their minds to.

We don't care about any government handouts. Give us a port in Ibaka, let us import raw materials and export finished goods and in 10 years, Dubai will be buying from us.

In your post, even though you have next-to-nothing knowledge about Gatimo Apparel, it's clearly inferred that you are saying:

1) The news about what the factory is doing is a publicity stunt (tell me what the news about Aba garment factory is);

2) They are seeking government patronage (tell me what your inconveniences are with a privately-owned business trying to sell to both government and individuals;

3) They are not producing on their own like Aba garment factory (tell me if it is the Lagos government that is supporting them with funds and other resources).

Stop displaying your crass ignorance on things you don't have knowledge in. I don't want to say you are unhappy about what the factory is doing because of its location.

Better you keep quite than thinking you can intelligently hide spiteful words in your posts and comments. If you continue with these spiteful words, we will also be monitoring and picking them out for you just as easy as they would always appear.

What an horrific attempt to spite the good work of others!

The

The way I see it is.

1) I gave credit to the garment factory in my first sentence

2) I drew comparison between them and other garment production outfits elsewhere which I think (in my own opinion which I am free to express anywhere ) in methods of production and the impact they have on their immediate environments.

3) I commented in my third paragraph about the need for the alternative method to get the much needed access and freedom to explore the international market so they can get better and compete With the outside world.

I think these facts I stated piqued your insecurities which were all hiding just beneath your skin and you had to read it wrongly to see if it will heal your obvious bias.

While bi am not directly responsible in re educating you and making you more tolerant to divergent opinions, I will urge you to go easy on yourself and read comments with more open mind for your own good.

Tanku.

Thanks.
This is what dented your comment:

Good, you said you're making "comparison".

What sort of comparison do you want to infer with the above? Tell me what your 'Aba is neither looking for publicity or government patronage' statement is meant to mean because you clearly dodged it in your response.

Until you explain what you're trying to insinuate by that, I will not take you with any seriousness.

However, whether or not you give a proper response, I have overlooked your errors. I will only advice you to comment reasonably and maturely next time, regardless of whom the matter of discussion centers on.

Bye!

The mask they are talking about in USA is not your regular mask, they can mass produce that. The one that is scarce is n95 mask produced by only one company called 3M. US is not looking for anyhow mask

Not true. It's not only the N95 masks that are in short supply but the surgical masks too. They don't have enough.
It's not that they can't mass produce them in the US, but producing them in the US has become unprofitable. So the US companies outsource the production to China in order to make profit.

that thing is 100% polyester, it'll choke you!!!

Look for Aba made face mask...don't say I didn't tell you

If they are polyester material, that's the wrong material for a face mask. They should be using tightly woven 100% cotton.
Are the Aba masks made with 100% cotton? If yes, how do I get to buy?

The Garment industry remains a big one in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

State government should use this COVID19 wahala and learn, they mustn't wait for instructions from Fg.

Every state should capitalize on one sector of the economy, then persuade FG to place embargo on import from the sector...

In that way, employment will increase and GDP will increase.

That is why people have been calling for restructuring. Divulge power from the central to the states let them all run at their own pace. Why would Ondo state (for example) have surplus Bitumen but will have to go beg FG to start exploring them and if for some reason FG says No, that's final. The structure needs to change fast for us to move with speed, Nigeria is too far behind.

Is it thru only the Nose we cover that this virus can be curbed?

There's something I'm not getting here.

I need to be clarified please!!!

The main channel of transmission/reception is the mouth. Everything should be done to reduce the rate or block that channel as much as possible. Coughing, sneezing, spits and saliva droppings when talking...

If you shake hands with a COVID-19 patient, as long as you don't put your hand into your MOUTH, nose, eyes, ears before you sanitize or properly wash, you are safe. The mouth must be protected hence the emphasis on facemasks.

Our company(Zhejiang Fuxia Medical Technology Co.,Ltd.) is producing a large number of masks. In order to solve the problem of the shortage of masks in other countries, for the safety of everyone, everyone needs to prepare some masks, if you need it, you can come to ask.
