People like you are too small minded. Did you ask yourself if I'm helping somebody source for information? no, rather you compare a troll topic with one of importance because your rushed brain is skewed to reason like a zombie

What century do you live in?
Is the man complaining or don't you know that females can inherit their father's property?

Yes ofcourse.... and give it all to his husband, which is the son of another person, bearing another name entirely.

after 15years, the property bears the name of the husband and its no more Mr A's property again but Mr B's.

Because Nigerian men start acting up when their wives give birth to girls only like it's the women's fault.

Parents do not know that it's even daughters that take care of them in their old age. Daughters worry for their families. So many sons taste Pucci women and are lost, forget their family and are manipulated by women to care for the Pucci's woman's family.
Corrected.

At least you understand that a lot of the problem still hunkers down to?

It's no one's fault really. I would've thought that by now, a confirmed theory would have been developed in a way that allows us determine the gender of a child without the use of medical intervention such as sperm selection etc..
Theories such as sex position, high calorie intake, chinese chart etc.. have all proven to be unreliable.

It's really astonishing the amount of counselling I've had to do for women who have sunken into depression after finding out the gender of their baby - and I've noticed most of these women are pregnant with girls.

The only time I encountered someone unhappy with a male pregnancy, was because she already, had 3 boys and was desperate for a change the 4th time round.

Why is such mentality prevalent amongst our women? In fact, the way some of these pregnant women act makes me question if women hate their gender so much that they can't bear to bring in another of their kind into this world.
Deep down within you, I know you know the answer you seek but your quest to drag the women folk, you decide to feign ignorance. I wonder what you all gain from dragging ladies on this forum. Does it pay bills?

Madam stop sayin dis just cus u want to save face for women society, its the glaring truth.

The moment a female child inherit the property of a family, jjst consider the property gone... i mean gone...

See this...

Mr john birthed mary alone.

Mary married Walegrin

Mary inherited a company named John's investment limited from her papa.

then papa dies...

Wale and Mary gave birth to Lysander

Lysander grows up to head the company "John's investment limited,

Dont forget that Lysander's full name is Olawale Lysander

After the demise of Mary (at old age now)

Lysander inherited the company fully.

Now Lysander wil b forced to change the company's namegrin

Den Lysander rename the company as Lysa investment limited

As u can see, the company has bn successfully moved from John's family to Olawale's family without much ado gringringrin

can u see now??

Stop mentioning and regurgitating nonsense. When she inherits the property it is for her alone and to do with it how she sees fit.She is no longer keeping the property for her parents it is hers and if she chooses to give it or share with her husband that is her business. The property is hers to do as she likes or sees fit.So stop mentioning me with nonsense talk.I have seen women inherit and their husbands don't even show concern on how their wives choose to use their inheritance.

I read it and the nonsense was amazing and I lost some brain cells reading them.

You made no point how a woman chooses to use her inheritance should not be your concern.

I might not agree with the name change because it is not necessarily.

However, even if a woman inherits a company and handles it herself, the moment she passes it on to HER children bearing her husband's surname, it is in another 'family'. That is not to say her birth family no longer has a claim to it. And when they tell the story, they will mention the founders.

That is why succession lines is mostly patrilinear.

Even if a woman decides NOT to change her surname after she is married, she is still bearing her 'father's' (male) surname.

In summary, if given to either of two kids to do whatever they like with it:
1. A male child will keep it in the family (at least name wise)
2. A female child will move it to another family.
Re: Why Do Nigerian Women Wish For A Male Child Whilst Pregnant by Ladyhippolyta88(f): 5:34pm On Apr 22, 2020
Ok nice angle. It depends on the type of inheritance and what was inherited.A first name or a neutral name can be used depending on the persons involved.I don't even see the name as an issue as long as females get to inherit no qualms.
