What I know is that the government has failed us as Nigerians and also the covid19 has different strains. What baffles me is how terms used in a movie called CONTAGION are what are being used now such as social distancing, regular hand washing and testing. Is there something some people know about covid19 that we don't know?

Sir, I advise you read about patient 31 in Korea, aka the super spreader, a woman positive for coronavirus who after attending two large church gatherings within a week was responsible for infecting hundreds of people who were linked to that church and some of those infected people eventually died.

The God I serve is not limited to the four walls of a church and he hears us all when we pray wherever you are.

Until the Government and medical professionals deem it safe for the populace to return to Church, you should stay at home, keep praying and growing spiritually, and obey the laws of the land, even as Scripture commands us to be subject to governing authorities.

You too make sense! I can't imagine a woman having this quality reasoning over a Man's... Just don't argue with people when your point of view is clearly clear .

I'm shocked that of all the places to be opened, he emphasised on church. He didn't say businesses, eateries, industries, markets or schools but he said church.

When was the last time you carried your bible to church? People read bible at home more than in the church. Tablet and phones are our bible now. People pretend to read while facebooking and browsing social media right inside church. I have even enjoyed worshiping more during the lockdown than ever. I have attended many churches in a few weeks. I even worshiped in overseas churches online. May God make our hearts His home. Amen

Possibly u are a pastor who his source of living is being tampared with. U know how deadly this desease is and how many have died throughout the world, then u are suggesting opening of churches so that things can get worst. Thank God u are not the only one in this case. U can go ahead and open ur church but government are wiser than u.

Total Lockdown will not solve this virus problem. If it could, USA and Britain wouldn't have had such massive increment in the rate of infections and deaths despite the facts that they started the lockdown before Nigeria and we're more discipline in keeping to it.
What Nigeria needs to do is to keep encouraging social distancing and banning large gatherings coupled with the use of personal protective equipment as initially announced by Lagos State government. The Federal Govt idea of total Lockdown is ill-thought, cynical and retrogressive and will only continue to lead to social and economic disaster for the people and nation.

Why don't we all pray from our houses instead. God's ears are certainly not deaf to the prayers we pray in our houses, neither is his hand too short to save us.
But to intentionally put yourself and so many others at risk by going to church now or attending a large gathering and potentially infecting others is ungodly and dare i say, even sinful.
