If you're a musician, your music catalogue and popularity will make up the bulk of your net worth.

You can have a net worth of $50 million and not have a single dime in your bank accounts. You might even be in severe debt.

So, how do you redistribute net worth to others?

It depends on what you’re asking for. Kanye was asking for investments and not freebies. With investments, you hope to make a profit and still get your initial capital back. Nigerians are about who to scheme out of their own money. There is no shame when asking for an investment, but there’s total shame when asking for a freebie.
