Take for example, our first century brothers were expecting Elijah to come before the Christ because that's what was prophesied in the scriptures! Malachi 4:5 compare to Matthew 17:10-13

The scriptures said Messiah will conquer all the Kingdoms (governments) of the world and establish his own Kingdom, but Jesus told our brothers not to worry about the time rather they should continue doing the preaching and teaching work! Act 1:6-8

So when our 19th century brothers were guided by God's holy spirit, they foresaw something coming in 1914 but God's holy spirit did not reveal everything to them! 1Corinthians 13:9

It was after the fulfilment of many of the events that Jesus (through the assistance of God's holy spirit) later direct God's people's attention to the scriptures to help them grasp the fulfilment of that is happening!

Just calm down my friend to make more research and stop being hasty about your judgement so that you don't continue fighting against God while thinking you're actually fighting for God! Act 5:39
