My wife . She passed on 3 years ago. I have never in my life been with a person so dedicated and committed to me and my cause . She passed away after an unsuccessful surgery . The pain hasn't diminished and the memories are still raw
Till now family be pressuring my arse to remarry but in my mind , who's gonna fill her space?

Most of our women aren't really thinking of the long term and only interested in the immediate things they can smash ,grab and vanish away with.
If you find someone who really loves you. Never let them go away. True Commitment and love are so rare These days it's almost impossible to find
Hmmn.. so sorry.

My mum, I was just 9yrs then, she was singing and spreading clothes on the hanger while I played in the balcony. Only to hear her screaming Jesus and she slumped right in my front. I watched helplessly.

The scene flashes in my head anytime I remember her. She was my super hero she had everything under control except her life.

She was the brain behind my dad's business and supervised it while dad was working. She managed her own provision store. Was a major producer/supplier of a bar soap in the neighborhood, she was always in I and my siblings schools, had good relationship with the school owner and my teachers. She was the home maker, always happy to see her whenever I returned from school. she cared for everybody around her genuinely.

I now wonder how she did all of these cuz she died at about my present age and I'm yet to live half of her legacy. My prayer everyday is divine strength and grace to reach and superceed her achievements so I can make her proud. Rip mum
That was a spiritual attack. Obviously from her success in business, u said she own a provision store. Her competitors at work, God rest her souls.

You see, God has a reason for allowing certain people to die young. Probably they have fulfilled their purpose on earth, there are some people who live to a ripe age yet cannot even achieve half of what someone who died young achieved during their lifetime. This world is a mystery.

My auty who was a superior police officer died of kidney problem in 2014 @ age 42. She was very successful, have houses, properties, loved by everyone, but had only one daughter. She has elder brothers who's almost 70 years now yet cannot boast of anything. It's not how long one lives but d quality of life and legacy one leaves behind, let that be our consolation.

A FAIR DAY TO YOU!

It is sad to lose a love one. One that you think about and wishes u well. God bless the soul and spirit of my Aunty , Mrs Kate Okpujie. She died in a mysterious way. I call her my second Mummy. Anytime I think about her, I always burst into tears. She died at the First week of April 2020. The tin pain me reach bone. I feel stabbed in the heart. Those that killed her will die in 2 years time. I prophesy with the bitterness of my heart.
she was my teacher in secondary school, she was a nice person

Yea, my girlfriend and my dad, Jan. 14 and Feb. 16, 2014 respectively, while I was in my first year Uni, shattered my dreams and promises, he made to me, turned me to a responsibilities' boy without married yet but Alliamdulilahi, here we are, I survived, my sis almost, rounding up Final year in OAU and everyone felt and still feels my impact and proud to know me. Was a rough ride, still a rough ride but only the brave keeps on and head up. smiley

This thread makes me reconsider my stance on Faith.

I wanna go back to believing in a beautiful afterlife. I don't care if it doesn't exist, I just need some form of hope to hold on to because staring into the dark empty nothingness of nonexistence drives me crazy; for me and my loved ones.

I'm logging on to the Jehovah's witnesses website. I prefer them because I don't need any scary hell stories.

I thank God for your life but I advice you to try Catholic. Start from study the simple cathechism, if you need further help, simply send an email to me and we shall take it up from there. Welcome back to the Kings of light

He is a star and a great man that has helped alot of people. The Chinese govt sent him and some other delegates to Nigeria to establish a phone manufacturing company in Enugu while Enugu exports oil to them. Chika occupies a special place in my heart even unto death. We became somehow serious to settle down when he died. Even unto death Chika I love you. May your gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen[/quote

Painful. So the deal could not go on

Wooow! I grew up listening to gbenga adeboye's comedy although I never really understood his words, but my mom and dad loved him, I can vividly remember his burial which was shown on TV multiple times... My mom watched it over and over.... I strongly believe he is resting peacefully...

Thank you

Isn't the Catholic version of the afterlife, scary? I just want to believe in something refreshing and comforting.

It's not scary at all. Visit Catholic.org for more details on the Church. If you have Amy further questions let's talk

On second thought, for a beginner, www.catholic.com is what I recommend as it has a much wider audience and more answers to questions, for free courses you can visit Catholic.org
I'm sure you're beginning to understand that there's more to life than nothingness afterwards. What will be the point of just coming to earth, and disappearing to nothingness afterwards. Do check it, thanks

PS: start with the free catholic education. One step at a time

I'll see what I can do but I'll always go for the easiest. No rules and regulations kind of studies. I'm too lazy. All I want is to be a better person to others and hope that an afterlife actually exist and I get to live forever in happiness.

I'll do this out of respect and reverence for the supreme one, not out of fear.

My heart bleeds each time i remember my mum and elder brother..
Mum(18/4/06) sickness
Ten years later
Elder brother (16/06/2016) Accident
My mum's death left a very big hole in my life..
I was just 10years old..
Never experienced a motherly love and advice during my teen years..i craved for one seriously during my teens period...
I wanted a gist partner that will lead me through my experience den as a teenager...
My elder brother was the best to me
We were like twins
Everywhere u see him
I'm always dere
The only issue we do have den was boys matter ..he never wanted any boy around his only sister(smile)....an overprotecting brother....
Eh i miss him so badly
It broke me completely
I was shattered totally
I really miss william,he was just in 300l den(U.I)
To d extent of wen i heard abt his demise,a tear never dropped from my eyes cos i was damaged emotionally already..
My soul weeps everyday ,cos dere is no day i wont remember him ......

i will always cherish our memories together
Till i finished school,i engaged in different activities from man o war, modeling, sports, drama groups,bands.....just to keep my head straight and stable....

I became so playful to everyone around me so no one will see how emotionally drained i was until a certain friend i met confronted me and told me to my face dat he is sure that all dis my act to everyone around me is FAKE...
Pple dont know that most pple dat acts strong to the society are broken inside emotionally
I appear so strong to the world and it has actually moulded me so strong both mentally and emotionally..

I now encourage most pple out dere dat sees a loved ones death as a reason to be stagnant in life never to make dat conclusion
Rather rise up and soar higher than b4 and make dem proud even if dey are no longer with us...
Though i know God understands everything perfectly
ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT KILL OR BREAK ME MAKES ME STRONGER

Yes.. I was so painful when I heard that Gen Sanni Abacha died....l expected him to ruin Nigeria and depict all its resources but he died suddenly, leaving some of the resources for Abdul salam to Embezzle but the joy of it is that after 20 years of his demise, he kept sending money to us...

May he not rest well where may be
