No deductions at all, same stuff. We've been under IPPIS since 2015.

Federal govt can't cut salaries na, and if they do which is very unlikely, they won't touch health workers'. In fact, this set of people are getting huge sum as hazard allowance.

The hazard allowance is for federal tertiary hospitals only and is not likely to come with this month's salary because it was just announced few days back. Circular has been sent to all the hospitals already directing them to forward names of their personnel, it isn't audio.

you are right because the payroll has been prepared already before the pronouncement. I think it will reflect in next month salary

I know someone that was paid just 3 weeks after he was captured by IPPIS but that was in 2018.
My observation is that IPPIS has had a lot to do in the last one year, which is slowing down the pace of work.
I have another friend that was captured in January this year and is yet to start getting paid by IPPIS but his workplace is still paying him and others like him using their IGR and the monthly subventions from the FG pending when IPPIS will start paying.

Do you think there will still be NMW arrears for federal tertiary institutions when the whole NMW has been swallowed by heavily increased statutory deductions viz: Tax, NHS, Contributory pension, and Union dues?

After the capturing which was done around July/August 2015, IPPIS finally took over payment of salaries in February 2016. From the first month of payment it has bn smooth. There were no hidden deductions, infact our take home stepped up a bit(reason was the unified taxing system of IPPIS). No issues from the very first month.

there will be NMW arrears no matter how small it will be. The only problem will be if they will be willing to pay it considering the ready made excuse of economic downfall.

I work in a federal teaching hospital and I was hoping it will come with this month's salary. Let's watch out for next month.

I work in a tertiary hospital. The tax has sky rocketed since 2016/2017 but the tertiary institutions likely didn't effect the increase on their staff salary because they were on gifmis. Now that they being migrated to IPPIS, the system will effect it automatically.
My tax jumped from 7k to 19k in late 2016.
What me and my colleagues were complaining in 2016, universities staff just dey complain in 2020

Staff of the Federal Universities should brace for impact cos the Peculiarity Allowance that was paid to them in January MAY BE deducted in April's salary....

what is your source? Stop speculations. Some lecturers were over paid. So have retired last Feb yet were paid.
