Same question I asked.

What is the point of curfew in Lagos between 8pm-6am?

If that is not daft, then I don’t know what is.

Will the virus hibernate during that time window? How will workers get home? Will the police now start harassing people going home at 9pm?

Questions, questions, questions, without answers from a recorded speech.
Bros the virus issa night virus... this country issa joke I swear.

He don start.

The curfew might be necessary to clean and disinfect general places before the next day.

Everything is not about human right, common sense can prevail at times.
I hope some people won't say they have started fixing 5G mast in the night, so reason for c the curfew

Curfew in Lagos is purely difficult, Lagos as long as there is movement door of traffic will not be closed.
Some people stay on the traffic for more than 3-4 hours of which some of them closed very late.
So whenever government want to do or enforce something Lagos should be very thought of.

There is zero need for a curfew, it’s either we are locked down or we aren’t.

We are not fighting terrorists, such that a curfew will help weed out those that are terrorizing at night. It’s a virus that doesn’t have a stipulated bedtime.

Seriously , it's amazing despite all the several meetings of governors last week they couldn't come up with any good economical plans and a clear cut on how we start our lives and the economy gradually.

The Speech was a gilbrish and so longish without any clarity on how citizens and offices will move a out in Lagos, abuja and ogun.

Curfew of 8pm till 6am will never work in Lagos where people are held in trafic till 11pm in island.

People stepping out by 6am to island at the same time will not get to office till 10am. So what are we talking about.

There must be flexibility, Lagos should come up with a feasible time table to manage this period of covid 19. May God help us all.

curfew is to prevent interstate movement which could lead to more spike in cases, night clubbers and to also curb armed robbery.

For those that believe that Buhari is still alive, thing twice and remain in your sleep why sufferness continue to hit harder just because you fail to tell your self the truth all in the name of political party. All I want to say is that man is always man why God remain God. The more the Fualni government think they are doing what they are doing to suffer Igbo's because they are looking for Biafra, the more the sufferness hit harder on their people too because Igbo's hold 40% of the key businesses in Nigerian why they themselves control 60% including the oil but oil is not more. Who is fooling who? This is just the beginning. God is still God!

We have a brainless, useless, cowheaded and godforsaken animal as president.

In his mind he is heartless, fulfilling the desire of his shrine god. One day he will die like the rest of them who doesn't know that nothing last forever.

The number ONE big confusion i notice is, he said business and work places will be open gradually, other nations like Germany, US,France, italy, spain etc where specific abt the type of business and industries they gradually want to open n start operation. I can tell you for free that there will be confusion come 4th becuz baba bubu did not specify in his speech ,who and who shd start gradual opening process becuz mai goro, mai shayi, mama weh de sale akara, everybody body will troops out enmass to open there business why becuz there is no clear cut instructions as to who and who shd open to start gradual opening process . Then what??we are back to square one.
share your own observation that will lead to confusion..... confusionist....... grin

Interstate travel can be curbed with checkpoints.

Clubs can be shutdown by police.

As for armed robbery, that should reduce since people would be free to earn. Remnant mischief makers can be dealt with by the police as they would have done before a lockdown.

Ena don start... Why do we have these kind of set of people in this country/World. Those who sing Hossana are same who shout Crucify Him. What exactly do you want??

They have been movement from 10am to 2pm, you people shout, wail, its not enough. Now he says move from 8 to 6pm, u still cry and whine like babies, am so certain of he said, let there be free movement, some wud still say why do we have to move freely when there is deadly virus out there.

This is to tell you that no matter what you do, people out there will always talk. They will always look for way to bring you down.

I keep saying, you all who are shouting hunger, endlockdown, will be the same people blaming buhari for lifting lockdown when God forbid, the virus spreads and high death rate is being recorded.

Remember this, uneasy is the head that wears the crown. Not all the time you must oppose, and if you want to do, do it objectively.
Now can you now explain how a curfew can work in lagos, you said we should be objective critics now please just explain how the cufew will work in Lagos State?

This man used to be focused and directional but of late he has been engulfed in partisan politics that his words lack coherence, with law enforcement agencies curfew can work in any part of the world, Lagos is not the worst state /city on earth, if the lock down is affecting you negatively probably you have turned to charge and bail lock down started from advanced nations of the world, it is one of the measures to contain and curtail the spread, just give kudos to the government since everything should not be politicized
You're talking in the thing that dinnor have any experience at all.

Even during total lock down, hoodlums such as one million boys are going about robbing freely without any resistance from the Police, so you think it is curfew that we deter them?
