To me the best way To relax this lockdown is restrict movement from 6am to 7pm them people can be free to move at night, this will give rise to a 24hrs economic system Gov Fashola has always wanted to make happen. And after this whole pandemic is over you will see how major cities like Lagos, FCT, Oh and a few others become a centre of attraction to foreign investors. With this idea Gov will do their best to make elextricity available, street light a must and security a major thing. We need to start thinking outside the box and start appreciating the advantages and disadvantages that come along this pandemic. |

Felicity0001: Wait....Let me understand what you just typed The best way is for the government to restrict movement from 6am - 7pm, and allow movement from 7:01pm - 5:59am? Is this what you meant? 1 Like |

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Felicity0001: 9:40am On Apr 28, 2020 |
izzou:Yes boss! Think about a 24hrs economy where companies and industries are allowed to work round the clock. Boss this will give rise to a lot of job creation and opportunities, people will start doing 2-3 jobs. A lot of advantages comes along side trust me. This was the dream of Gov fashola then and what he really meant with the word "mega city" Modify: Besides how many people would even go out at night? Think about this as well. |

kodred: I still don't see much of a bother about that, it's gonna be read anyways. Leaks can happen, one or two times but how many times have you seen leaks like this from the presidency. It's not peculiar to Nigeria,it can as well happen any where. Naija isn't the only home of the absurd. |

izzou: Carshopper:Yes! But with all social distances contents strictly adhered to till a cure or a vaccine is found. Companies and industries will even be glad to operate 24hrs with shift becoming more effective and more staff to be employed. This Will also help to curtain the rate of unemployment in the society. Mind you WHO said the virus will be with us for some time, so therefore, let the lockdown continue till a vaccine or a cure is found will people are only allowed to move only at night. Naturally this will reduce the number of people we will be having outside during this time movement is allowed because most people dont like night movement, nature calls, el at... |

izzou: The 24hours work time would be achieved when the whole pandemic is over. Like cities should start learning how to work at night as against daytime. And when the pandemic is over, night activities won't be a strange thing any longer. Shey you get? Like testing the waters, Testing the microphone... You get like that? |

northbird:Its still the same thing Bros, so long CBN the mother bank works during the normal time every of her children will follow suit. Mind you, mostbeuropean countries will be observing day time operations, take for instance, forex, western transfer, and the rest. The economy will even be more effective as foreigners would be able to communicate with their associate overseas while they are awake and active. When I worked with Huawei as an FME I work round clock going round simultaneously for routine maintenance, AGO supplies, check, swapping of cards, cutting and the rest... generators run 24/7 on sites. Same time we supply banks the internet they use for daily operations, without telecommunications banks can't operate, so if telecoms which is their major tools operates 24hrs 7days non stop why then will banks or CBN can't work? BAZ001: That is because most companies arent making enough profits like forecasted. Every business wants to expand due to competition, more expansion more staff needed. In the aspect of securities, reason I said in my idea post gov will have to wake up to the call of making sure these 3 things constant electricity and street lights, good roads and securities should be worked on. I know for sure FCT already have lets say 60-75% power supply almost same with Lagos. FCT has 80-95% good roads, street lights and securities. Lagos, Ph, Abeokuta and if im to add to the list Ibadan are the cities lagging behind. The reason we seems to be having significant result on power is simply because givernment want to get it all right at same time which is totally impossible. Let government take it base of industrialized cities and states in fixing the power problem and by the time they've achieve success with major cities and states then they move to other less industrialized states. So with all of these infractures we already have in place in cities like FCT and Lagos State I dont know about Ogun a 24hrs economy can be achieve while other state gocernors work to join in the race. |
