But they don't have exactly the specs so it will surely pull ahead. Specs is not just processor, camera is there, refresh rate is there too as well as charging. The Realme 6 Pro should be compared with the Pro Max and it still edges it out slightly because of refresh rate which Xiaomi somehow don't so much fancy for now.

Solid Point

For you to understand the difference between Helio G90T and the SD 720G, you'll need to understand how they're built.

The Helio G90T is built as an Octa core SoC with 8 CPUs arranged in a 2:6 big little configuration. It uses 2 high performance Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.05GHz and 6 low powered cores (Cortex A55) clocked at 2.0GHz for regular tasks

On the other hand, the SD 720G is also an Octa-core arrange in the same 2:6 configuration but the high performance cores it uses are custom cores (Kryo gold) designed by Qualcomm based on Cortex A76. These cores run at 2.3GHz. To compensate for the high performance, it uses 6 downclocked cortex A55 running at 1.6-1.8GHz for regular tasks.

If you notice, both chips are using the same types of cores but the fact that Qualcomm customized theirs and the different clock speeds will produce different levels of performance.

This means that for high CPU intensive tasks (not requiring much GPU input), the SD 720G will blow the G90T out of the water. But for normal regular use, the difference isn't much but the G90T will pull ahead.

Moving on to the GPU, the Mali G76 on the Helio G90T dusts the Adreno 618 (which was underclocked for some reason). So when it comes to tasks which requires the GPU or tasks that combines both CPU and GPU, the Helio G90T will beat the 720G.

That being said, the 720G is built on a smaller more power efficient process of 8nm compared to the 12nm of the G90T, hence it is likely to heat less and doesn't consume a lot of battery.

Also, Qualcomm supports their chips and gives out information to programmers/developers to work on their chips. Something Mediatek doesn't do. So 720G will still be relevant in the next two years while the G90T may be forgotten.

The choice is yours.

Thanks your detailed explanation. because whenever I'm playing Dream League 2019 multiplayer with my friend who's using A71 with Snap 730G, even though we have the same players quality. RN8 pro is always faster and he never won 1 match since I switched to RN8 pro.. It is good to learn and I really appreciate your post

Qualcomm introduced Quick Charge 3 fast charging technology back in 2015 for both smartphones powered by both flagship and mid-range SoCs at that time. Even though the company had introduced Quick Charge 4 in 2016 and Quick Charge 4+ in 2017, the company has now announced Quick Charge 3 fast charging technology for mid-range smartphones. It says that this can charge a phone from 0%-50% in 15 minutes, which is up to 35% faster and is 9° Celsius cooler compared to previous generations.

Quick Charge 3+ focuses on bringing advanced fast charging at a lower price point:

*0%-50% in 15 minutes, 35% faster and 9° Celsius cooler compared to previous generations
*Supports standard USB type A-to-type C cables and accessories that support scalable voltage with 20mV steps from Quick Charge 4
*Backward compatible with previous-generation Quick Charge devices and newer devices can work with Quick Charge 3+ accessories
*Integrated cable power capability/identification, various safety mechanisms

Quick Charge 3+ will be available first on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 & Snapdragon 765G, followed by other new Snapdragon platforms across tiers in 2020. Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Lite Zoom (Mi 10 Youth Edition), powered by the Snapdragon 765G, is the world’s first smartphone that supports both Quick Charge 4+ and Quick Charge 3+ charging technology

You are right... Overall specs on the Realme 6 pro is better.... Was considering the device seriously but I somehow wasn't sure if I'd get the support needed if the need comes up plus I have grown to be a MI lover. grin cheesy. Most of these little differences in processor performance will not really matter to the average users like us. I am more than certain I will be getting a monster in the shape of the 9s.

Sure the support for the RN9s is already up and running. And I am impressed with the battery life. It is a promising device to be honest.

One cannot tell. Why the device is not available in Nigeria, it is not a Global phone, it was produced for only the Indian and Chinese market. If you need it AliExpress is your only way.

Qualcomm is lying. It has been cheating on the benchmarks since 2013 and now it is no more a cheating but a common practice. So mediatek is at no fault here.

Good Afternoon. Please I need a possible solution to this problem I have. My brother's phone (Redmi Note 5A Prime) suddenly went off this morning and when he turns it on, it keeps showing the Linux Penguin Logo and it's not booting. Does anyone know how this problem can be resolved?

Hold power button for a long time till it vibrates

Goto developer option and scroll to the last you'll see Miui Optimisation, turn it off, it'll install.

I still can't find it under my settings. Can you send your number or mail for better communication?

But hope you are seeing the exchange rate. International market is $200-209. If we are to go by that and #450 to $1 you will get why it is very understandable

Go to About phone, click on MIUI Version about 8 times to enable developer option, then go to additional settings>developer option and follow earlier instruction.

how do you even reason this price of a thing! How much is note 9s sold on AliExpress?

Have you considered the exchange rate?

So, if note 8 retails at 72 - 74k, will Note 9s now be 75k?

If you don't budget around 85k to 95k, you no go fit buy that phone
