I have tried not to be scammed. because scammers always look for something in their victims territory which is “Greed". they quite well that you're an adult and wise, so what they do is they try to stire or arose the greed in the you cos they believe every average Nigerian has this iotale of greed in them. so when you fall then you are in for their scam.
Avoid greediness then scammers will flee from you.

Hmmmm Bad experience whenever I remember March 6th and 9th 2012. I will never forget the Bad experience in my life. I just came out from Skye Bank in Adeniran Ogunsaya Surulere Lagos. When I reached Bode Thomas, the guy approached me that he is new in the area, that his Papa is sick, and wanted to sell something to one yemkem to take care of him, I told him I don't know the place, as we were discussing one guy just came around which I later find out they were together, that we should help the guy, didn't know what came over me that day, believe me I was took from Surulere down to Mushin area in Ìdí Árábà ọn The same Bike ó, when we got there I saw something like 15 hefty guys smoking, that is when I knw that My Egungun don reach express and Trailer don Jam am... They collected 51k from me, my two phones my wrist watch, my Atm cards, and asked for my Pin, they actually delayed me and went to bank to withdraw my money, but later came back that I gave them wrong Atm pin, they gave me 500 naira for Tfare to go withdraw the remaining money in my acc for them, I didnt get my self, not until the bike man I called to take me to bank told me that I should not go back to the place again, before my eye clear. No one is perfect though, because one of my friend I told the story then said it will never happened to him that I loose guard, believe me after some months our landlord sent the guy to send 80k to his son in Sch, but thank God for him, he entered their trapped after he had already deposited the money. They only collected his phone and 1k.
The worst part of my story is that after that on the 6th of March I still lost my job 3 days after which is 9th of March 2012...I will never forget these two days in mai life 6th and 9th of March 2012.

PS: No one is perfect if they go scam you they go scam you, but we still need to they use our head though.

This is why you need Jesus Christ. If you are truly under his cover. This kind of spell and charm won't work on you.

Someone from binomo investment company hacked my IG account.
At first, the person asked if I've heard of binomo investment and I said yes but I have no money to start so they said they will send me 40k but I will have to follow their instructions then I replied okay..

The person later asked for my Instagram login details and the code sent to my Gmail which I gave to them.

In my mind I thought they needed that information to confirm that their money wouldn't be stolen that was why I gave out those vital information so as to start the investment.

Few minutes later,I saw that my email, password and mobile number has been changed and now I can't access my Instagram account.

Below is the Instagram page of the hacker.
My original username is ossomjessieee
The person changed it to ossomjeieee

Please what can I do to retrieve my account??

Before now,I didn't link my Facebook with my Instagram

Theres nothing u can do. You should know that all these wtv wtv investments online na scam na... they have changed everything so th IG account is no longer yours open new one and you're lucky u didn't have any money because from the way ur sounding them for scrape u die

cant forget year 2011 when I was still in school, see me fending for myself and my siblings after my mum died a mysterious death and my dad ran away. someone referred me to one prophet who can tell who killed my mum. I had only 2k with me,as I reached there,he was just doing guess work and asking names of some of my relatives, which I thought he would have mentioned their names without me telling him. at the end of the day,he said I should sow a seed for God's spirit to minister more to him,I gave 500,he said is small I said I had no money, he said God's spirit won't be happy with me if I have money and denied it, I said ok,I had just 1500 remaining to transport me home, he said I should bring everything and watch God perform wonder on my way. that's how I gave everything in my purse,he reschedule the appointments with other things I should buy. that's how I trekked a distance a bike can take 400,on a normal day. I cried and cursed this man. I got home with pains, I had to buy pains relief drugs. since that day,I don't believe any si called man of God.

I was scammed by Quickteller a year ago, yes you heard right. As a Quickteller Paypoint agent, funds in my wallet was moved in a professional manner (with no trace). It took me a full year to unravel this fraud, with my investigations i can deduce it was an insider from the company as I gathered that I was not the only victim as some other agents were defrauded. This leaves me with question of how secured are agents funds on the Quickteller Paypoint App.

I will be creating a trend here on Nairaland to shed more light, hopefully to get the company to react to this as i have got proof.

November 2018 I joined a whatsapp group via Nairaland to learn about mini importation from china. The group was created by one Jang or Ugwu guy, i am yet to find out the guys real name. He thought us well about importation and even gave us a starter's guild for free. He has a premium class that you must subscribe to if you want mentorship.

With utmost sincerity, the initial aim of the group was great, he never asked for money from anyone aside the mentorship class which was not compulsory.. Weeks later some members started the business and will always come to the group in case they need some clarifications.

I was just a floor member, I don't ask questions, I don't contribute, neither was I really interested in importation parse.

The aim of the group drifted from a tutorial class to investment when the admin introduced an investment program that can give you an ROI of up to 90% in 30 days in January, 2019. This was what got my attention, but I waited to see how it will turn out for the first set of investors..

The first 30 days came and he paid them all. This was all he needed to convince me that he was legit. He told us he uses the money to import goods and sells them in Abuja. We believed him because he was like a mentor to some of the newbie importers. His strategies were top notch and he looked so real and responsible to be tagged a punter.

Yes Punter... He was a full time punter with importation business as a side hustle.

Nobody knew this until March 2019 when he started giving different excuses as regards why he couldn't meet up with investors payday.

To cut long story short, I was scammed of 100k and the entire group was scammed of over 2 million naira.

Some of the investors that resides in Abuja...got hold of him, and were able to recoup some amount of money by selling a piece of land the guy owns in Nasarawa.

But me wey I dey stay for lag and also very busy... I just leave the idiot to God's hands..

His moniker is finestboi funnynation here on nairaland...

I am thinking of uploading his picture here... But i won't do that yet.

Modified

His moniker is not finestboi, but funnynation and he claimed to be an MC.. Here are some of his pictures.

@finestboi if you get to see this in your mention.. I sincerely apologize for the wrong accusations, It was an avoidable mistake. The guy in question actually uses finestboi as his whatsapp name. I will Make sure I get back to those that have mentioned this post. To inform them about this.

Wow...I was in that same group too but I didn't invest...I just saw his picture you uploaded and it hit me...the familiarity of the face. I remember his picture was posted the day of his birthday

so they catch my guy...hahaha serves him right

sorry you got caught up in his scheme...

Yes, by this nairalander that claimed he was into importation and needed us to invest in his business and he would import some building fixtures with our joint investment money and then share our profit to us after selling and making profits

Only for the anumpama to collect our money and start telling stories of how he was robbed and all the fixtures stolen. We threatened him with police then the story changed and he started claiming he used the money to do betting instead.

He was a popular comedian in Abuja. I still have plans to arrest him if I ever catch him for now I will spoil his name everywhere I possibly can until he returns my money.

MC funnynation, real name Moses Ugwu, better hope covid 19 kills your miserable soul because if I know where you dey you go sleep for prison for at least a year. Animal

ohh you too...I was in the same group but didn't invest...I was low on Money then.

Just imagine the kind of Cheap scam data this person is selling.

Let's not be greedy. Even the Network Owners will never sell data allowance like these.

These type of people make us honest business people look bad.
Just look at what he is selling as data.
Learn to buy data yourself directly from the Network Carrier. I don't even see what's cheap about these data these people sell.
They are only out to scam individuals.

Imagine the Network Owners themselves that is Airtel sell 1gb while this Scammer is selling 1gb Airtel for 330Naira.

How on Earth is that possible?
Please, let us shine our eyes.

I was just about to enquire about those guys...I saw there ad on naijaloaded too

if there are really frauds...shouldn't these platforms take responsibility for the fraudulent ads they post

Yes I was scammed in the church.I had just completed high school & was idle looking for something to do. At the end of service, I was hanging around waiting to attend a meeting. Some very smartly dressed guy came in his suit. He said hello & said he was looking for someone who was computer literate. It’s mandatory in my country to take some packages in computer literacy before proceeding to college. I told him I had the basics but I had friends who could do better. He encouraged me to apply because they were looking for anyone with commitment & they didn’t mind training the person. While I was busy filling the form, Dude told me his battery was low & he needed to return an urgent call to a friend.I handed my phone without thinking twice. After filling out the form , I turned back to hand the it to him. Dude had disappeared. I tried calling my phone & it was off a confirmation that I had been scammed inside the church.Such a shame!
