* Is he a virologist or medical doctors or discussed with health practitioners on it uses

* is there prior test on it or they want to use current covid-19 patients for research

the last time i check even in america where Trump laud d drug, the authority there; FDA has seriously condemned the statement and against it usage. they even reported hospitalization of some individuals due to it usage. and i read many news about some patients in Nigeria hospitals due to it overload.

Even while in Nigeria, I stayed clear of using Chloroquine as I had some pretty nasty reactions to the stuff back then. Why would I in my right mind, knowing what I know now of the drug and it's contraindications, simply use it because some daft governor in Bauchi suggests it worked for him, so it ought to work for me?

Also, I question his claim of it being 100% effective against the virus.

I do not think Hydroxychloroquine or Remdesivir should be the choice of cure for this deadly virus we are still struggling with.

There are other drugs out there that are being tested along, not to mention traditional home remedies used as prevention before any flu or disease sets in.

According to studies, it has been proven that people who are thought to have been cured by Chloroquine were not cured by it, they just recovered normally
