And what causes the VJ to lose elasticity? Let's stop deceiving ourselves. No woman's VJ goes back 100% to normal after delivery but it can still be corrected and maintained by allowing it time to heal during which you'll do hot seat baths and use other herbs to quicken healing.
Not allowing it go through these processes will make a woman to start farting and leaking uncontrollably through the VJ.
I have seen so many cases in the my years of practice. This is life not what I read somewhere. But many are ashamed to admit it out there.

There's nothing like "poor elasticity" something causes it to lose elasticity. Poor maintenance, which is one of the things we are talking about.
what do you mean there’s nothing like poor elasticity? What are you practicing, because clearly you don’t know what you are talking about. Genetically some women have poor elasticity, some have great. Some women will go right back in to shape, with no flabby skin and a toned body after pregnancy. Women with poor elasticity will have loose skin, excess fat and cellulite for years that will be almost impossible to get rid of. The same goes with the vagina. There’s no amount of waiting that can heal beyond measures when the natural elasticity of the woman is poor. I’m not saying there’s not certain things you can do to help, however waiting a year is totally unnecessary and there’s absolutely no difference if you wait 6 weeks or one year.

Ok. but Like I said in my other comment, sex is not all about penetrating a woman. There are other ways to relieve yourself!!!!

You can repeat yourself one million times.

I TOLD you in my earlier post; if your intended husband AGREES then you won't have issues. If he doesn't( which I'm SURE he will because that's what YOU RESOLVED) you WILL have issues!

There's no I in marriage. There's 'WE"

Just say you don't like sex and don't bring your mother into this. So your mother told you she use to abstain for a whole year. As I said earlier, either she was one of many wives or one of you is lying.

I beg your pardon! every good mother should be able to teach her daughter certain things about her body and it is not out of place for her to teach me too. And I didn't say whether she does it or not cos shes not the center of focus here and that is not your biz. Go and ask your mother how she does hers.

Depends on the woman's body, some have tears or episiotomy which takes time to heal and might make intercourse painful, the pain associated with womanhood eh,and some people keep yapping nonsense about women, some women never recover psychological after childbirth due to the pains which makes them loathe sex,it is well o.May it be easy for us all so we can enjoy sex without worries.Forcefully resuming sex when the woman hasn't healed properly could lead to issues.

Women of back then did not care about their sexual health. They are not in the best position to advice a woman on when she should wait. We have medical doctors for that. Anyone in doubt should consult a gynaecologist. Most online articles recommend a month upwards but then body type and birth complications differ. Women are having bigger babies too. There are many factors that would determine when a woman would be ready for sex.

A mother should do what it is best for her sexual and mental health. Her husband should support her, that child is not going to bear her surname.

Which one be surname for this matter now??

Farting through the vj? Pls elaborate.
she doesn’t know what she’s talking about please. She’s spreading false information on Nl, people will read her comment and will feel it’s necessary to wait one year after birth to have sex, all to remain ‘tight’. It’s a bunch of lies. It all depends on your genetics, your age and how much you tore during delivery. Do your kegels and sits bath, by 6 weeks you are medically and physically okay to resume sex and any healthy vagina should regain its normality. If you have to wait one year just to be normal, then maybe your vagina needs medical attention.

Kid, you made it my business by posting it on a public forum! You have tactically dodged my question though I am not surprised. Did your mother stay one year as you earlier said? Was she one of the wives or just the wife?

The blame always goes to the woman as if that child is hers and hers alone. Look at the nonsense beliefs others have expressed over 6 months. No one asked why it would take six months, what could have happened etc.

At least, six months. So that the vaginal walls that expanded during delivery can can contract back to normal. My mum taught me this and during their time, it was 1 year before they resume. Resuming almost immediately weakens the walls and getting them back together is usually difficult cos it was not given enough time to heal. And that is why mother's of today after one or two children have slack VJ and Begin to run to us for vagina tightening. That was why during our mothers time you hardly find women looking for vagina tightening remedy.

So 6 months to 1 year is fine. It will also help mother and child to stay healthy.

Medical native doctor, you mean?

It is only Nairaland ladies that don't like seeexx, they prefer to wait for 10 years after childbirth before resumption.

In real life, women are the one asking medical practitioners this question because they want to resume ASAP!

Hypocrite everywhere!

Keep fooling yourself.

So you think an active young man for instance 32 years will wait for you for a whole year without having sex ?

I'm not sure you people think with brain some times...

I had my son through CS and the doctor said after 8 weeks for CS and 6 weeks for Vigina delivery. But then I know people heal differently so just make sure the woman is ready

Nice one.

If you don't mind me digressing a bit, how do ladies do this Vj tightening of a thing?

I'm suspecting a girl did me ojoro recently. she made me think she's still a virgin because down there was very tight. My little finger couldn't pass through.
