that one is not merger, he just appoint one minister to oversee those ministries, which is very wrong because they were major ministries, merge parastatals and govt agencies for effective and cost management.

GEJ started the implementation of BVN during his administration. In fact, PMB didn't do his own BVN until about three months after he has become president, probably he(PMB) did not embrace it totally.

If they can implement this, then it will be a step in the right direction. The number of people in the civil service is just too many. And they are extremely unproductive. Just go to federal civil service complexes in the states and see civil servants lounging around doing nothing.

If we are being honest with ourselves, an extremely efficient and productive computer based civil service does not need more than half of the current staff strength.

Jonathan was simply a joker as a president. Look at a beautiful idea he allowed to waste for that long. The same thing applied to the so called restructuring, TSA, BVN etc. Well it's better late than never. A serious minded person has seen the need to implement all those things.

What clear inputs have you proffered other than hatefully malign the person of the President. The Jonathan you are praising did nothing other than constituting a committee to advise him, but he was too dumb to appreciate the recommendation of the same committee that he had to relegate it to the shelves for 4 yrs before he was shown the way out.

If anybody deserves the praise here, it is Oransanye and his committee, then Bihari who got the political will to finally implement the good recommendation.

GEJ should be regretting his non implementation of several sound recommendations giving to him that he failed to implement, including the Treasury Single Account which your labelled dullard has also implemented.
