Good morning mamas in the house. Please I discover that since last week I hardly sleep and I was told not to take any drug, the most painful part is that I cannot go to the hospital because of this corona virus. Please is there anything I can do to aid my sleep?

Welcomed my princess yesterday 30th April @ 41wks5 via elective CS. Birth weight:4.2kg.

B.S when I feel better. CS is painful abeg!

Mamas in the house. Am confused about our EDD.

We have done 3 different ultrascan at 8weeks, 20 weeks and 24 weeks respectively.


Judging with the first scan now...

At 20weeks 2days, we had a scan and scan says 19weeks 6days...EDD was 2 days lesser compared to the first 8weeks scan...

At 24 weeks (judging by the first scan) we had another scan and it shows 23weeks 2days, which makes it 5 days lesser.

Is this normal?
Should we be worried?
Which of the scan should we consider as the most accurate to determine EDD.

It's very normal. I had same experience during my first. EDD kept getting closer as the baby was maturing. I eventually had my baby a day to the last EDD given to me at 36 weeks scan.

I feel the rate at which the baby is developing determines the EDD, not so sure of that though. Even this present one my EDD has started shifting backwards with the last scan I went for last week.

Are you sure you really have infection? Were you tested before those treatments? Please don’t take any other antibiotics until your obgyn direct for test and recommend drugs for use. Some pregnant women have high discharge and mistake it to be infection. If it doesn’t itch nor smell you’ve got nothing to worry about. You can discuss it with your doctor in your next appointment but for now just keep on with your prenatal and fruits with plenty water. Wishing you happy bumping ma

The gyne said its chemical pregnancy that it happens after positive-negative result then the blood,He said maybe my hormones isn't supporting the pregnancy because it occurs when the pregnancy is two weeks so he said I will be placed on progesterone and baby aspirin in my next pregnancy
Mummies that have gone through this low progesterone should enlighten me

I had a chemical pregnancy back in early october but immediately took in. I was pregnant for about 5 weeks. I.e lasting about two weeks after a positive pregnancy test. The miscarriage blood I saw transient into my period and I took in at the next ovulation. The gynea only gave me a pink tablet(salbutamol) to take as soon as I conceived. He didn't mention anything about progesterone being low. I rarely take the tablet now and I am going to be 28 weeks tomorrow.

Pregnancy insomnia had that with my first and sensing I will with this pregnancy.... I did not take anything. I did not take anything.... I loved it sha because I could do my work at night
