. Happy new month Beautiful people, This lock down will not Knock us down. I do crave your support for my kids and I, I'm a separated mum of two and I can't feed the children anymore, my friends and family have been supportive, but right now we have exhausted all means to feed given the lock down...I do laundry & cleaning services for a living but right now, businesses have been down given the economic crisis.
I need foodstuffs particularly I'm available to collect in Sagamu, isale Oko, Ogun state.. My number is 09065666452
Please save a soul

Sometime last year you were in a position to support your sister in law and her child who moved to your house. You claimed to be wicked and selfish and you wanted her to leave. Today, you are stranded and you need help. See life?

By the way, it seems like you're now separated from your husband. I'm not surprised.

I actually do feel sorry for you. I hope you have changed.

Really? Staying how many Months at home?

Many workers had to work from home. Essential Manufacturing workers worked in Safe batches. How then do you want to claim those days as off-work.

Capitalism is often ruthless. I know that. It seeks to squeeze value from all productive assets. that's typical.

But for you to make 'generalized' claims that staff stayed/played at home. That's untrue. I certainly don't work for Dangote though.

You're talking of feeling whereas the important factor here is how to break even such that worker's salaries will still be paid. Even FG should do the same thing.

So long as he is paying salary and paying full. Phuck leave and work. It is better than sacking and salary cut.
Its salary cut indirectly for if the lockdown surpasses the leave period (normally 1 month) any other day will be deducted from the salary and if lock down continues that means all salary will eventually be deducted.

Is annual leave not part of your EARNED TIME? You worked for those vacation days, it was not free. In your original employment agreement, there is a part where you and your employer agreed regarding how much vacation you get if you work for a certain time.

It is not their sole position to make such unilateral decision. You have a say in it because it’s your time, they did not dash you that time. It was earned. Meaning you have worked for it already and it belongs to you not them. They are just keeping custody until you use it.

Do you even know that some companies would pay you and equal naira value of you vacation time if you do not go? What that means is that you are being short changed.
The period you stayed home was not your fault, not that you are refusing to go to work, now how come you are the one beating the burnt.?

This is just not fair!

you too get sense . the lockdown is just like imprisonment. people collect leave for various reasons/ purpose. converting it to leave is wrong and moreover, the want such employer to start working from now till decemore without a rest.

How?

After weeks of unproductivity with pay, you want the company to still allocate productive time when the lockdown is over for their staff to still go relax at home?

It is you who have no compassion for industry, enterprise and the national economy.
who told you that dey are nt working in dis lockdown

No sane worker would want to go on leave again this year.

I can't even imagine the look on the HR's face when you ask for another leave this year.

I just hope they don't retrench like Access, leaving alot of breadwinners stranded.

Today is May 1st, yet a good ask around would show that workers would have preferred going to work today.

so, if he or she has crucial thing to do ,he won t?
stop the joke.

This is not really right you know. Some people request for leave to attend to other matters. Not just rest at home.

Matters that require them to visit offices of agencies, parastatals and all. Me I will request for my leave. I no send them.
