PigTormentor:Oga clap for yourself, since you believe this government is great let's leave it at that. Even procurement specialists in the country agree to the waste that goes on from contract inflation. I agree with the oil futures part, let's see where prices will go 2 to 3 months from now. |

[quote author=Simplyleo post=89273980]Lol. Very unfortunate. This is the more reason we need to save for the rainy days. However, enemies of the state have been keeping night vigil praying and fasting for a fall in national income so that Buhari and his family will starve to death, I think their prayers are gradually being answered. In their foolish view, a boom on the economy has little consequences on their lives because Buhari refuse to be sharing money house to house. Clowns. Rather, they have been very prayerful for American economy to rise since that is the country whose economy has direct impact on them. Let's wait and see how Buhari and his family will eventually die of hunger. I have never seen a collection of human beings with such degree of foolishness. [U just talk.....] |

PassingShot:Thank God that we have Buhari( man of integrity and good pedigree) as the president of this great country in this challenges time. Thank God we don't have them in corridor of power those used N10 billion to make CAKE for 50th Independence anniversary celebration. Those that do not see stealing as a corruption |

SocialJustice:This govt just like all past and future govt is not perfect and cannot be perfect. There are many issues that i have with the govt especially in terms of security. I also have issues with the lack of firing those that are incapable of carrying out their duties. There are many problems with the govt but as far as I'm concerned, this ie most transparent govt so far in the history of the country. Are there some in the govt that are stealing or will steal? Without a doubt there are and will always be. But you cannot compare the level of thievery that is going on now with what we used to have. When this govt is out of power, whoever is in power should prob them even more than they are probing thr pdp right now. |

The scale of the looming financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic has been revealed by Minister of Finance Mrs. Zainab Ahmed.NIGERIA AS A NATION HAS BEEN LIVING IN SELF DECEIT. Not now, certainly not but right from Independence in the 1960s. NOBODY WANT TO CREATE NATIONAL WEALTH. STATES IN NIGERIA GO CAP IN HAND BEGGING THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR ALLOCATIONS. STATES IN NIGERIA DO NOT WANT TO EXPLORE ALTERNATIVE SOURCE OF REVENUE IN A PRODUCTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE MANNERS. States in Nigeria depends 100 per cent on money sourced from Niger delta crude oil. Thanks to the Good people of the Niger delta region they use their crude oil to foot the bills of the government of Nigeria which they are still doing as at today with even the fall in the price of crude. IT IS ABOUT TIME NIGERIA GOVERNMENT DIVERSIFY THE ECONOMY FROM CRUDE OIL BASED TO AGRICULTURE. Let states in Nigeria work hard and contribute to their own development instead of waiting for the socalled "FREE MONEY" |

PigTormentor:Nothing has really changed. We are still where we are. When Nigeria gets a president that is ready to work to make the country great, the impact will be felt clearly and you won't have to stress yourself to see if the government is working or not. Nigeria with 200m people has more poor people than India, a country of over 1 billion people. Should Nigeria as a resource rich country be borrowing to fund infrastructural development? Why can't we pay with oil, mortgage our oil directly to fast track development by 10-20 years, no contract scams. Do you know the $23b that was almost borrowed had a consultancy fee of 40% and the FG was planning on a similar loan by Q4? A nairalander was the one who pointed it out to me. What was the consultancy fee charged for the almost $30-40b Buhari has borrowed to date? Let me just do what I can and leave the rest.

The major issue we have in this nation is that our President can't make a speech by himself. I hope we all learn from this. |

wink2015:you will never hear many here who talk about integrity blablabla talk about key solutions to the present situation like true federalism. Until respective states become revenue generating machines and competitive nigeria will continue to be in shambles.. How long can the niger delta feed a big nation like Nigeria? |
