Arrewa:This is very impressive and commendable from the new generation of northern youths we from the better east wish u all well but the only problem here is if you also want to continue with the evil path of ur father's who don't love to see the SE region politically and economically free this is where God himself will seriously punish and destroy u all if u decides to also follow this wicked evil path. |

Nigeria will disintegrate not because of IPOB but because it has no future. We the Yoruba are the ones holding the country together and we have had enough. There really is not much difference between the Fulani and the Ibos in their tendency to destroy rather than to build. They come to the table with total selfishness and unwillingness to make any sacrifice thinking of what they can get rather than what they can contribute Do you not see how Buhari is running the country? Yet you remain silent. The problem is he is establishing TOO MANY dangerous precedents and when the time comes and it is reversed you will find it hard to swallow. Thankfully the oil is now worthless |

Bekool:I don't have problem with an average Igbo man! I'm the most misunderstood person on Nairaland I'm only after ipobs... The religious and tribal bigots! I'm making them experience what it feels like to stereotype and condemn a whole region! No tribe has the monopoly of bigotry! |

A shocking misapprehension of Yoruba people. Presidency is a Greek gift .Yes it is our right to contest and we will We do not covet the presidency contrary to what Nairaland banter might suggest. It is of personal interest to people like Tinubu not the Yoruba people. If a Yoruba president is there he cannot show the kind of nepotism that Buhari is showing. He would be fair to all. So Yoruba presidency is not our priority. Remember that without presidency for most of our history we continue to run the Nigerian economy and are the best educated. We know we can do better with more autonomy from Abuja We want a constitution that allows us to control our destiny. Not one where we are forever going to share money in Abuja. We do not want oil money. Can you see a future for your people without oil money? |

Arrewa:I don't threaten anyone, what I am saying is that what is good for the goose is also good for the gender Equity, fairness is the only key to national unity but when u see a people and castigate them perpetually...the hatred becomes endless.. You are pushing for SW forgetting they have hard it 8years? Why not them do the wait? They should sacrifice that SS has been doing the sacrifice for 64years SS is bleeding Nigerians would v been another chad, niger etc if not for the wealth in SS So why can't other region do they wait just so they complete their tenure? |

Customtest:Brother I understand your point... Niger Delta region is the most important region in Nigeria... Unfortunately most of your leaders have no reputable legacy except GEJ who I still respect... Pls don't take this comment offensive Niger Delta deserve more... It's left for you people to groom a candidate we can trust... We don't have problem with Niger Deltans... Jonathan has done more for the north than Buhari and yar'adua combine |

Imagine the arrogance. Which Fulani or Hausa past or present has a reputable legacy? |
| Re: The New Political Dimension Of Northern Nigeria And The New Generation (photos) by omonnakoda: 10:25am On May 07, 2020 |
All this patronising talk is for fools. The issue in Nigeria is now beyond who is president We do not want a president or centre that is as powerful as what the 1999 constitution prescribes Let everyone control his space and resources and live others to do the same. A situation where an IG sits in Abuja wakes up one morning and changes the Commisioner of police without any local input is no longer acceptable. |

I dont see the big deal. For every one of such persons bandied in the post almost all other regions can boast of thousands with same if not better qualifications. But without the advantages the North bestows on its own such as very low cut off to enter university. A 100% guarantee of its graduates getting the best jobs and climbing the hierarchy with ease. So no big deal when i see the sort of people you are making noise about. And did i mention that even the PTDF scholarship scheme is at best a Northern Nigerian scholarship scheme. What a country. |

Arrewa:An average SS Man is like Gej Forget u not Gej was rejected by north initially during the build up to 2011 election You should understand that averagely the people are tolerant, inclusive and ready to share!! With good conscience, u should understand that I'm making a legitimate ,fair and good demand for my people. The SS has qualified people to give dividend of democracy to all Nigerians.. I purely don't want to mention names |

Customtest:The north entirely rejected GEJ not because of his region... Many of our people rejected GEJ because of the strong alignment he had with the Igbos... Our people naturally don't like the Igbos because they believe that the Igbos hate them and waiting for every little opportunity to bring them down... Bigotry and fanaticism among our also contributed to the downfall of Jonathan... Those things are now lesser in the north But the truth is that we don't have problem with Niger Deltans and can any day any time support any credible candidate from the south south who will sincerely work with us... We have the force and population to support any region into the presidency... Northerners are just being stereotyped and misunderstood... |

Nothing like Northerner Fulani cannot speak for Tiv or Jukun or Kwara or Berom. The Hausa and Fulani are as bigoted as the Ibos . Two sides of the same coin. The same hypocrite criticises Ibo for SS/SE attachment talking about NORTH upandan. What is Northerner? A term that serves the interests of Fulani in exactly the same way Ibos are attacking with SS/SE Crap Yoruba stand alone and proud identify yourself by your ethnicity. Stop all this east north west south crap |

omonnakoda:u're a wise man. The term "northerners" is a hoax cos they use it to protray a united area of 3 regions to score cheap political score. After politics is done and dusted at a particular point in time, NC is always d mince in the pie. NE as a region is usually almost sidelined in the political space but thank God for federal character. Sometimes, its better to recognize urself as being different and work of ways of making things better rather than deceive urself for d purpose of ascending the ladder of political power and being worse afterward. |
