Nnewi like most towns in the East would count among the few non-cosmopolitan cities that are 90% built by the indigenes, all the major local manufacturing and service industries in Nnewi are 100% owned and operated by the natives there. The same can't be said for other major cities nationwide especially Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, PH, Asaba, Warri etc where foreign investors along with other Nigerians play major roles. So I somewhat get what Beautifulminde3 is trying to say.

You guys have to understand that the Federal government input into the development of most urban cities in the East has been very minimal to say the least. That's why you guys mock us for having low IGRs etc, Federal budget allocations at state levels in the SE besides been mismanaged by the governors (except Umahi who is doing a good job at Ebonyi) are meager compared to other regions... yet we don't complain anymore, we use our human resources and wealth generated home and abroad to build our communities, and by extension our states.
