Finally made the porridge yam I've been craving for after Wike decided to share palliative and yam was among.

I like my porridge with spinach/ugwu leaves just like this.

The pastry was not so smooth on the top, it burnt a bit more of cruchy but it tasted nice.

The vacant squares were the ones used for tasting.

Any tips to prevent burning during baking?

To prevent burning, mostly reduce the heat and keep far from heat. For example, if the heat is coming from below, put the tray at the top side of the oven.

Just reduce the heat and baking time next time.

Ogu area and for the first time, I felt like I belonged to a country. We were given 4 custard rubber of beans, 3 big yams, 8 power pasta spaghetti, 6 custard rubber of garri, palm oil, onions.

same thing happened to me the day that I baked my bread because the heat was too high and the baking tray was close to the where the heat was coming from.
So just reduce the heat and place the tray abit far from where the heat is coming from.
Pls send some short bread to me.
