Bluebeard... Please what are you up to? It's not a must for you to answer people here, you always act like you know everything, yet you are empty,i read everything of you with vickyhe, pls if you don't have good reason to talk, pls hold your self and be watching..
Nmc UK only accept IELTS academics not GT..
Sincerely it was an error due to oversight, it wasn't intentional. Secondly its not a must to answer people here, truth be told, but what's the use having knowledge that others can't benefit from? Mind you, there are many times I've answered people correctly, you didn't ask me what I was up to.....its fine, obviously you saying all these due to personal vendetta. They were times, you asked questions in the past that I answered you. Of course you may find this hard to believe because I lost the password to the previous account, hence this moniker ...I was wrong saying GT was accepted, instead of Academic, I'm human, we all make mistakes. And the argument I had with Vicky, was ironed out, it was just a piece of the whole puzzle I was missing out, and I came here to thank her for the clarification, after Vicky and I spoke at length as regards it. We are all here to learn, if anyone ask questions I know the answers to, I'm gonna answer the person correctly, this time .

Good evening ALL, I'm looking at enrolling for IELTS and not too sure of the type for UK nurse route, GT or Academic test. Please can someone help me clarify ?
@chiomajesus sorry about the misinformation. They accept academic, not GT, as I said initially.
Have a nice night

I don’t think it was due to oversight, you said ‘they accept either’ meaning you def knew what you were saying. What’s the good in passing on wrong knowledge and info, plus why is it difficult for you to accept that the info you’ve given is wrong? Since you’ve been here as BlueBeard all you’ve given is wrong info

Good morning all. Normally, I come here to read and get updates but now I've finally made up my mind to register, so I can make some comments. @hunnybee There's nothing more gracious than when someone makes a mistake, and later apologises for the mistakes done. Bluebeard made a mistake and he said he's sorry, what else more were you expecting him to do? Kill himself? For crying out loud, its just unfortunate he answered wrongly this time around, and you all are raining sulphur and brimstone on him. How fast it is to point fingers when someone goes wrong and suddenly goes mute when d correct thing is said? Asides this issue he had with @vickyehi and this misinformation he gave and some other times I can't mention now, there are countless times he has given correct answers. you said he mustn't answer questions, that also is wrong on your part. I'm saying this because u said to him that he must not answer every question, which suggests to me that you are capable of doing such too) yet, he answered. Bluebeard has his own shortcomings too, but for everytime he was wrong, he comes back here to clarify the information, which also suggests to me that he's open minded to learn. @bsn4eva And you calling him "empty"? And saying he acts like he knows everything? That was wrong too and I feel u should tender an apology for that . Funny as it may sound, if everyone contributes by answering questions , like in Canadian FSW or PNP threads, we'd have really gone far with this thread. U can imagine from 2016-till date, we're still on page 134, doesn't that suggest something to you? Pls we are professional colleagues here, let love rain, no need for hate speeches and comments to tear down each others. Please stay safe everyone. I love you all

Let me chip this last one in, those that have benefited from this group in any way, please there's nothing wrong if u come here and share the good news with everyone here, tell us how u got your abroad job, how u passed your NCLEX-RN /CBT, tells us how u passed your ielts and how u landed in USA / UK. This has a way of encouraging the younger generations. We'll all rejoice with you

It isn’t unfortunate that he answered wrongly, he’s always answered wrongly with confidence. And pls note that i never said he should not answer questions, i only said he should not give the wrong answers. There’s nothing wrong in not knowing, no one was born with all of these knowledge and we all gained it as we journeyed through the process ourselves. That been said @MrsAnn I didn’t rain sulphur, If you can’t accept your shortcomings and acknowledge them instead of trying to find reasons/justifications for them, you can’t be a good Nurse.

Nobody ever said he should not answer questions here, we only said he should not give wrong informations here, alot of silence people are following this trend which we must make sure we pass authentic answers.

There is another trend for nurses working already abroad ,there is a link for that in this particular forum I think.
And there is also a forum for nurses already working abroad which is strictly for nurses already working abroad.
If you have any question ,feel free to ask here ,vickhye, Barbie and co will answer them..

Good morning dear. This is a forum, and there's no one moderator. Just like every other threads, people make mistakes. And yes, other people correct them, politely, without having to call them names or use derogatory comments. It's OK, but you could as well apologized for calling a colleague that. That was were you got it all wrong.
Have a nice day, sweetheart

Good morning Nurses. I have a situation at hand and I don't know how to go about it. My spouse applied to Texas Bon and they acknowledged the application even show us the step to check the application status.
The application was submitted in the first week of April and till now she is yet to see her name online.
Please has anyone be in such situation before??
How do you go about it??
NOTE:We have mailed them and call wasn't going through.

I will advise you to contact your school mates for your specific transcript. There is no uniform transcript across Nursing education, only the curriculum is the same. I do not expect anybody on the forum to send their transcript to you. Hope that helps.

I sent you CBT materials as requested.

About the licence verification as an intern Nurse, I spoke to NMC uk about this issue recently and they said you can start your UK registration as soon as you pass your Nursing council exam. However, I have come to understand that NMCN might not want to send your license verification immediately you finish school but I'm not entirely sure if NMCN will refuse to give NMC UK your records when they request for it so it is worth a try, you can also try to get a letter from your school to claim that you have passed the Nursing council exam if NMCN refuse to send your verification and see if that makes a difference. If that doesnt work then my advice would be to start studying for and Writing the IELTS exam in the meantime.

If you want to be a midwife in the UK, you need to register for CBT midwifery, midwifery jobs are hard to get but not impossible, there are also few study materials Available for CBT midwifery. Unfortunately I dont have any. If anyone has materials for CBT midwifery please send them to me too. Thanks in advance.

If you did the 18 months Nursing program and you want to be an Adult Nurse in the UK, you only need to verify your 18 months Nursing qualification. You also need to inform NMCN and your school to send a letter to NMC UK saying your 18 months nursing program qualifies you to be a Registered Nurse.

@chuksozy if you have the funds then in my opinion relocating with your family at the same time is a good idea. Apart from the fact that you get everything done together as a family e.g visa, flights, gp registration etc, your wife will be more stable mentally to deal with the pressures of a new workplace and a new lifestyle. Living in a new country can be very stressful, intimidating and lonely. Avoid it if you can.

@MrsAnn thank you for defending @Bluebeard, you couldn't have said it better. We are all here to learn and mistakes are inevitable, I'm also learning from you guys here and most of the comments I read are enough to see me smiling through the day. I expecially laughed loud and long when bluebeard called vickyehi an auxiliary. I was like "what? You did not just say that!" Anyway, Thank you vicky for your diplomatic and intelligent answers and thank you @Auschris for clearing that misconception about Avant. It is nice to see you back on the thread.

Happy Nurses week to all the friends I haven't met yet, that includes you too! Please Stay safe during this pandemic.

Got a response that the remark has been done and that i should pick my result from their office but lockdown already started. Till now, i have been trying to calm and they wont pick. I'm basically stuck. What can i do. I did the exam in Ibadan but IDP headquater is at Ogudu, Lagos
