We don't want it to challenge any sector.
Industrialization in akwaibom isn't for competition or game of challenge.
Na for the economy of the state.
If the industry cannot grow beyond akwaibom state, then its just like any other small scale business

I don't know what is happening to Abia state, irrespective of the abundant resources that the state is endowed with, The God own State, has just been blessed with leaders who are fantastically corrupt. A state where the ex Governor made sure his son who has over 80 different bank accounts is made the speaker by the present Governor who is his stooge in order to continue the looting. No good road in Umuahia and Aba the commercial nerve center of the state. Aba is one town you see the residents carrying their shoes in their bag or hand whenever it rain and they are going to the Church. On reaching the entrance of the church you see them remove their slippers and put on their shoes. God come and deliver Abia from this cabals in Umuahia. We will be crying for marginalization whereas we are the architect of our own problem. The most backward state in term of infrastructural development on the whole of south eastern Nigeria. They should go and see the transformation in Ebonyi state their neighbouring state. I don't know whether Nnamdi KANU is seeing this crooks called Governor in his own state.

But, where are the coconut trees? Let this not end up like other beautiful but unusable plants (Nwobodo's carpet factory that took millions of dollars loans). Believe, for me, that there should be ready and sustainable plantations before the factory. This is because, most times, these plants are just built as a means of justifying some stashed away billions, while meaningful and yarning needs of the society are overlooked.

Why not learn from Dangote tomato paste error? Where's the raw material that'll ensure continuity?
It's not about setup, it's about carrying out comprehensive feasibility studies before embarking on such enterprise

IT cant. I will tell you why because it's government-owned, except it privately owned or some form of joint ownership between government and private individuals where the private individual owns more stakes. You see government-owned companies are known for their inefficiency and cronyism.

I'm not impressed with the works Udom is doing ...he has performed below expectations. I won't be surprised if I later hear the coconut factory is co-owned by a Swedish company
Shouldn't it be better to be completely private, remember one thing for sure is that it will give jobs to the locals

What's the economic importance of that Monorail especially when you factor in the cost running into several billions?
If everybody think like you, honestly Nigeria wouldn't even have an airport or amusement park. Must you build everything for profit , meanwhile the monorail can be manage by private company ok

Listen, Nigeria is a poor country. The resources are limited, and the focus should be on building things with economic potentials. By the time the country is as rich as some of the First World countries, we can start spending money on aesthetics. What is the value of iPhone 11 to a man who needs 400k to start small scale business?

That PH Monorail was a waste of funds in the first place.
Another thing, remember Calabar was the first to build Monorail. When last did hear about it?
Apart from Lagos, I sincerely don't know any other state that deserves monorail as a critical infrastructure now.
