He is just another fool.
Aside from looting the national wealth, most Nigerian politicians are surprisingly dumb.
They can't see the next move.

He could have checked Nigerian statistics on active malaria cases
and compare them with the meager 5000 Covid-19 cases recorded

If the government had done nothing, doctors would have fled the hospital en masse
or refuse to treat patients. People like him with high BP and various health conditions
wouldn't survive a month without medical assistance.

Unfortunately, the people that are supposed to be dying are not.

What spectacular thing do you think government has done to keep the number of deaths less than 200

If the Coronavirus were that lethal on us at it were on them abroad, don't you think we all would have been dead by now

They have to justify the use of the billions donated for Covid-19.

When you see Covid-19 patients, you will understand the charade going on in Nigeria. For one, there is acute hypoxic respiratory failure. Chest X-ray will show patchy infilterates. SOB, fever and cough are at the onset.

Apparently Covid-19 is updated Malaria 2.0.
No wonder it's not much of a pandemic in Africa.
