He was posperous for the time but if you knew how much young boys are making now in music, you would know that his money was peanuts, I think physical cash he had at time of death was less than 1 million dollars and another 4 million in intellectual properties. Motown offered him a deal but he turned it down, the same deal nowadays are what Wizkid and Davido are signing with national and international brands. I maintain if Fela had the kind of money boys are making nowadays he would do more than Burna!
