I think this is a welcomed development. It could save us the costs and uncertainties that comes with sending transcripts via post.

But the question is, how do we know if our schools use this etx thingy?

I have ways been a view from outside but decided to drop this comment... For all those intending to take the IELTS, you can go on YouTube to see loads of videos that will guide your practice. A particular guy (Jay ielts) is awesome and his videos are very explicit. You can try it out.

Used it when I was practicing and I aced my ielts in one sitting!

Read reviews on ETX-NG.. You would pray WES should continue accepting docs via courier.

Thanks! Hopefully the ECA will be ready by March or April. I used ICES, their timeline is 20 weeks, its a long wait, but I prefer it than WES verification stress.

What major advantage does ICES have WES? I want to begin my ECA and i want to make an informed choice of organization.

My transcript got to them, they're asking me to use the ext instead, imagine? To pay another money really? and the rigidity of contacting Nigeria schools?

I noticed it when I checked my application yesterday. I checked again today and it's now showing. Submitted my app on the 17th of January 2020.
I don't know my VO but it's definitely one of the VOs that process applications for those residing in the US.

Hello sir,

I pm’ed you. Kindly check please. Thank you

Hello
Pls is it ok to write a job function in the job reference letter like this for instance:

Job function : Loan officer / E-banking officer -

Meaning these 2 functions were done at about the same period.

Will it be accepted?

It is just this IELTS suspension that is happening in the US that I’m a bit worried about. And I recently found out IELTS in the US is paper-based. Was thinking it would be Computer-based.

It seems some (if not most) IELTS centres in the US are located in the English department of higher institutions in the US. As long as these schools are closed, I don't think the English test would resume any time soon.
Also, the IELTS test experience in most centres in the US is synonymous to a typical paper-based exam experience in US classrooms. Based on my previous experience writing Toefl and GRE, I prefer the Computer-based test but I didn't find the paper-based test less convenient when I wrote it.

Have you fully or partially maxed out ielts?

Gotten two or more certificate or you have masters?

Learned French and written TEF or TCF?

Those are the ways to increase point in order of simplicity
Pls if I have only my undergraduate certificate and no masters , please how can I obtain another certificate within a short period without doing my masters

What major advantage does ICES have WES? I want to begin my ECA and i want to make an informed choice of organization.

I enjoyed ICES services.

Firstly I sent my transcripts through email directly from the university PG school, which is part of their methods of getting transcripts. It saved me money from courier service.

Secondly I was thinking it would take 20weeks to get my ECA report as that was what was written on their website, but luckily I got it in 12weeks. But it's via courier they send it unlike WES that you can download it.

Just that ICES interface doesn't give enough information on your application like that of WES.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

Hello,

(I apologize if this question has been overflogged. I just couldn’t find enough resource when I read page 1. I really don’t want to make any mistake)

Thanks for responding. I had earlier asked but I am not very clear on what to do about obtaining a Nigerian PCC from within the US.

I read your post and deduced that you applied from within the US. I am seeking to get my PCC from Nigeria just as I am simultaneously getting an FBI report. My question is:

How did you validate or certify your report with the home office? Which office did you process yours through and how long does it essentially take? Can you kindly guide me? Thank and God bless.
