OLAADEGBU: Banning in one place doesn't stop Jesus' followers from moving to another place! Matthew 10:23 You'll notice that you're empty as you keep arguing based on human wisdom you can't even quote a single Bible quotation to support your notion! Isaiah 54:17 compare to Matthew 10:19 Jehovah's Witnesses, may God continue to bless you people for me! 1 Like |

Maximus69: It's true that it doesn't stop Jesus' followers but you are not Jesus followers which explains why you don't call yourself as such. Maximus69: Why should I quote scriptures that I know you have no regard for other than to twist, deny, doubt and disobey? Maximus69: Jangilova Wickedness best describes your sect as image123 has rightly stated. You lied against Pastor Kumuyi, you lied against President Trump. You even lied against your sect when you falsely stated that JW is not a charity organisation and when you include all the lies your sect propagates in the name of witnessing that are set to contradict the doctrines of Christ then you should rightfully answer to your Jangilova Wickedness that you've been named. |

Who called me? BTW, why do JWs make all effort to be despicable almost for no reason? See how this fellow has been literally drooling over pastor or apostle that has no bearing on the issue on hand. Anyway, a Christian should be accountable or faithful. So he/she should be subject to some level of discipline. But permanent ban is too far in my opinion if he or she has repented. 70 times 7 carries this one. We Christians tend to look at the fellow CAUGHT in adultery like the biblical Pharisees. Meanwhile, we permit other pastors/ministers who are frequently proud, liars, extortioners, flirts, thieves, blasphemers. Many people do these countless times a month and mount the pulpit to minister. But if one commits adultery once in 20years, we want to stone him to death publicly. All are sins before God. We are the ones that graded adultery as number 1 on the scale, not God. |

Image123: My brother I had to conjure you up to come and deal with this 'Jangilova of wickedness' that is running rampage here. Image123: I am being specific to a Christian who has risen to the post of a pastor here. Should he be restored to his former position especially if he has repented and forgiven and even disciplined from a sexual offence on a minor, for instance? Would you be able to sit under his ministration if you or your loved ones were victims of this repentant sexual predator? Would you report him to the police even though you have notified the church elders? |
Re: Should Pastors Who Commit Adultery Be Permanently Banned From Pastoring? by OLAADEGBU(m): 12:31am On May 17, 2020 |
Image123: The secular authorities in the Western world would punish a man who is a Paedophile (sexual predator), who takes advantage of minors and list them on the sexual offence register. They would no longer be in a position to abuse minors again but in the case of the church of God this sexual predator would be asked to repent and be disciplined only for him to be restored after they are satisfied that he has been disciplined enough. He will be restored to the same position as a pastor and many go on to repeat the offence on these vulnerable ones. Now tell me who has a better moral standard, the world who safeguards the vulnerable or the church who exposes the vulnerables to these vultures waiting to pounce? |

OLAADEGBU: Brother, don't mind that guy. It seems the current ban on gatherings gave him maximum boredom. He's probably itching to sell some awake. i feel his pain. Yes for a pastor, he has not outgrown forgiveness, same way he should not outgrow discipline and correction. Since it is not categorically stated in scriptures, he should be forgiven and restored. We saw God forgive and restore Nebuchadnezzar, David, Samson, Peter,Aaron, Miriam etc. These all committed sin and were corrected. i'm not sure there's any bible verse that elevate adultery above other sins. If God that he primarily offended has forgiven him, why should i cry more than the bereaved? 1 Like |

OLAADEGBU: A forgiven sinner saved by grace is just as saved as every saved soul, not a vulture. Just like Paul the chief sinner who wrecked havoc on the church, he can boldly say "we have wronged no man". Old things passed away literally. That is the stunning beautification of the vilest offender who truly believes. |

When Satan quote scriptures for his own purpose Jesus also quoted scriptures to silence him, both of them lived in heaven before so they both have the right to quote their father. So your inability to quote fitting scriptures shows your incompetency and lack of faith in God's word! What you carry in your head is man-made doctrines! OLAADEGBU: |

Image123: Glory be to our most righteous God in the heavens! Now i'm certain that you're ignorant of true Christianity. So you think JWs sells magazines! Well for your information, millions who were misinformed about our activities are now trooping in to accept the truth. We can give you a copy of the magazine for life without you paying a dime. What we do is to be certain that you value it, that's why certain amount was placed on each publication but ask your neighbour studying with JWs today how much they paid for our publications. Go and do that now! Apostle Paul said "make sure of all things" 1Thessalonians 5:21 Instead of deluding yourself with false reasoning! |

Who gave Paul (vilified by his own people) the impetus to question a sinner if the fornicator is not a believer? 1Corinthians 5:11-12 My guy come and let's teach you the truth of God's word. Christians only had penalty for what they've agreed upon, they had no audacity to question someone who doesn't subscribe to their line of thought! 1Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3 1 Like |

Image123: Hmmmmmmmm the misinterpretation of KJV! Instead of the stake designed to torture condemned criminals to death in ancient Rome, orthodox Churches of Christendom told you is CROSS, after all you guys won't make further research to verify if it's so or not! Nevertheless you should have presented what you know instead of looking for ways to shut down others from airing their own views, but all the same thanks for your time! |

Maximus69: The Bible is self evident in proving that Jesus was nailed on a cross. I remember proving this to you but you chose to look the other way believing on a non existent stake. Like I said earlier, you are a believer of your Watchtower magazine and not a believer in the Holy Bible. The Bible calls you an idolater. I have now proved you on this forum how you are not only a liar but also an idolater. Repent and believe the gospel truth.
