Good morning ,I Think Embargo on recruitment maybe the cause of the EH component .Forget about NNPC was not listed in the papers because media cannot list them since GT part has been released .That's how a lot of sources was not aware that court case was the one holding the released in the first place and GMD was silent then too.So Hope by the time the Embargo is lifted EH maybe release similar to court/GT .

What should hold NNPC concerning EHs list release is pandemic. The oil price has started increasing and will also increase more since Saudi Arabia is still cutting further by 1million b/d next month.

That's right. The proffesor was too accurate. All other sources were more or less guess work.

There is this casual friend of mine that shares the same office complex with my company. I was surprised to see him in my test centre but unfortunately he didn't make it pass the CBT. Few days before the interview invitations were sent, we met in the complex and he told me to brace for impact which turned out to be true.

Although I knew he has a contact inside the corporation, I never bothered asking him anything since after the interview or even before the lockdown for obvious reasons. But we met today for the first time since the lockdown was lifted and the anxiety surrounding the E.H recruitment couldn't let me to just greet him and pass as usual.

After narrating the E.H ordeal to him, he decided to call his contact in my presence. His contact told him that he has not been to the office since the lockdown as they were told to work from home but that he would call someone in HR that has been going to work. That was how we dismissed in the afternoon.

He called me back now to tell me some of the things I already know, like the virtual resumption of the GTs. In addition, he said that the guy in HR told his friend that the EH cadre is part of the "Project Eagle" and has not been cancelled and that it will be concluded because a lot of spaces has been created since the last recruitment eight years now. They have not received further instruction from the GMD since the lockdown began.

Then my friend went on to add his own opinion that it could be the recruitment embargo and dwindling oil prices that is preventing the GMD from giving any further directive.

I hear some people here advising that we should move on if the corporation fails to contact us this month because that means game over. My advice is simple, you can move on if you want but don't lose hope. If it didn't happen this month, it can still happen in the remaining months ahead.

We have prayed and believed, we should now leave the answering to God. If you are destined to work there, nothing shall stop you from fulfilling it except you because faithful is he who promised, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Keep praying for a speedy end to this pandemic and for oil prices to keep rising.

I could remember vividly at my CBT center then, one of NNPC staff categorically told us during the addressed that those that will be luck will join them latest September.
