I fast till I runout but it's an eye opener to me and it also open my heart. Thank you I can never forget your kindness it also teaches me to help other too.

Well, if you consider the men who eventually became Jesus' disciples --they many not have been announced to us as rich men prior --they each also had something going for them before Jesus showed up. If you recall, Peter and his brother Andrew were fisherman by profession at the time Jesus called them. They too were required to, and abandoned all to follow Christ. Peter and Andrew left their career, obligations, family etc. in order to follow Christ. I believe Peter may have been married at the time too, but he chose to follow Jesus Christ.
These men lived homeless for a period, and ate from the foot left in the fields for the poor, and the foreigners, in Israel at the time.

So, the request to abandon all was not made just to the rich man, it is made to everyone who wants to partake in the life and covenant that is Jesus. Think of it as one of the price to pay for entry into this ULTIMATE club.

Just look at that. Same old story. Abandon all your possession , give them away or sell them off if you want a place in heaven.

But you think of it, if you really say you believe in God (if truly he's the one who gave you the wealth through His son) and he commands you to love your neighbor as a practice of brotherhood, what's hard to express the love by helping the needy?

In this kingdom, God gives us to give others. He blesses us that others may be blessed through us. You mentioned can't the poor cry to God? True. But we live in the world of men. God will not come down from heaven to bless the poor. He'll still use man who fears him enough to help the needy out of the abundance of his wealth. We grow by making others grow!


So we're all stewards. In stewardship, faithfulness is required. And God's not condemning the rich by His grace. He's only charging them to respect brotherhood by honoring him. That the case will not result to Lazarus and the rich man. By doing good, it's for our own good. And your generation will be aligned in remembrance.

The existence of God is not up for debate though. It is only debatable in the minds of those who are yet to know of Him, and that will always been the case.
Turns out the book is not a scam. I began testing those commands; Lo and Behold, God showed up. So, I know that those words hold truth, and I am still working my way through the rest of the commands.

True. Each covenant lists a set of Blessings, Curses, commandments and then indicates a Seal.

Unfortunately for you, I wasn't brainwashed by anyone in to finally believing. I actually found Him through extensive research and dedication to the cause of finding and connecting with the one who made me.
For the longest, I didn't even belief there was a God, until I found myself in a situation where I needed someone to help me continue to maneuver this life. I found no human being worthy... I don't trust any human to ensure my best interest in my condition. I went looking for a God, and I found one in the Bible God.

The word of God encouraged us to be rich in spiritual things, rather than earthly resources.
Our earthly resources must be used to look after the poor among us, starting from our immediate family and the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There's nothing bad in being rich.

Money answereth to all things was a definition of money and not an assertion that money will answer to all things. "Things" in that statement referred to physical things and services. The statement was nothing more than the definition of money itself.

God did not say "Money Answereth all things" ... I believe solomon wrote that... the same man who later turned away from God onto Idol worship. Yes, the Bible also contains words of men, not all of them are considered to speak for God. So watch out for those. Why do I mention this?
As far as God's word and commands in the Bible which those who belive in Him are meant to obey, you are to die to your ego... submit all of you and your life... everything you are to Him, and trust Him to remold you just as the potter remakes clay pots.
