Schools in the UK require a DBS prior to admission if you are going to be doing a professional course that would require one to work with o be around certain groups, eg children, vulnerable people.

Your school offers January admission for BSc Adult Nursing. Ask your school if it will still run in Jan 2021 as things has changed due to COVID.

However, before you make any decision, wait till July. Nigeria visa offices are still closed so there is no need to make any decision in a worry.

They will also most likely give extension for visa applications.

In summary the quality of teaching in Coventry is good.

It just tells you that the cost of internet access with that speed is included in rent.

i just got an offer to study an Msc course starting in january 2021. please:

1 where in lagos can i get the approved police report done
2) where and when can i get a DBS as done the school is asking that i submit it by 10th June.
3) in the offer from the school, they did not mention needing ielts results but i read it on ukgov site that proof of english is compulsory. Do i need to take the ielts exam even though the school dod not mention it on the offer given?

Its called PVG Diclosure in Scotland. Your school will send the form to your home address in Nigeria so you must have a valid address in Nigeria as most of the forms always get lost on the way.
I remembered 2 were sent to my friend in Nigeria but none gt to his address in Nigeria.
You have to fill the form and enter the address of where you have lived for @ least 5 years, You will also need to enter your bank details in the form and thereafter post it back to your school, who will now send to the DBS office. It takes minimum of 3 weeks to get a response and the letter will be posted back to your address in Nigeria and also a copy to your school.

Better to ask someone in UK to collect the form for you and you must be ready to pay the person too.

Cambridge University has become the first UK institution to announce it is moving all lectures online until summer 2021.

Tutors have been told that lectures will be held virtually, including live-streams. However, the institution still plans to hold seminars, work shops and small group-based learning in person with "strict social distancing" in force.

A Cambridge spokesman told LBC News: “The University is constantly adapting to changing advice as it emerges during this pandemic. Given that it is likely that social distancing will continue to be required, the University has decided there will be no face-to-face lectures during the next academic year.
"Lectures will continue to be made available online and it may be possible to host smaller teaching groups in person, as long as this conforms to social distancing requirements.

"This decision has been taken now to facilitate planning, but as ever, will be reviewed should there be changes to official advice on coronavirus.”

Alice Benton, the university's head of education services, told student news paper Varsity plans are currently being formulated to ensure the virtual lectures "will be of the best possible quality".

Cambridge is the first to take such a radical step, but the University of Manchester announced last week that it was conducting all lectures online during the autumn term.

Alex Jones, a second year Cambridge natural sciences student, told LBC News: "Being in a contact-heavy course, there isn't really a substitute for teaching that we get in the lab.

"Already this term we've had half the number of contact hours we were originally scheduled to have, and 10 weeks of fieldwork we were due to have were cancelled.

"If the same thing happens next year it's hard to see how it's worth £9250 when we'll be getting a lot less teaching."

Other British universities, which have been closely watching Government guidance while hesitant to be the first to act, could now follow suit.

Depends on the school. Most schools require a 2.1 or 1st class to grant scholarships but there are some schools (very few) who waive that criteria if your scholarship application embodies all the other qualities that they want.
