My wife is presently in this country because we both have moved on from ''whatever happened in Africa''. Like I said I was not a perfect husband back in Africa like most people, but I was not a beast either. We were both busy professionals who needed more work on our marriage, period! She called someone on one occasion while I was down on the floor begging her, she said ''Come see this mumu guy, so he can actually prostrate for a woman, he hasn't seen anything yet. Abroad has made the idiot humble, bla bla bla''.

This woman acts like she is now in control of the whole world and has exclusive access to the launch codes of some nuclear weapons. She is so power drunk, she acts like she is under some kinda spell. Like someone who is high or just on a self-destructive path. Multiple begging, trying to make her understand that all these recklessness would affect everyone, especially our children. I have cajoled her, persuaded her to let us all live in peace. I have involved counsellors and even the pastor a few times when nothing seemed to have worked. The pastors have spoken to the both of us a few times, prayed, counselled us etc. The pastor's wife even took it upon herself to mentor her and coach her one on one. They warned her never to call the police for any reason again unless someone's life was in danger, but to put a call to them instead. After about three further police calls happened, the pastor and his wife felt so disrespected and thought they were just wasting their time on us, they stylishly pulled out from interfering in our issues.

I once ended up in the hospital because I suddenly burst into tears at work one day and they had to refer me to the mental health team because they thought I was depressed, which no doubt I am. We are here at this difficult point because nothing has worked so far. I just cannot understand how someone could be as reckless as this, working so hard at destroying something that could be nurtured into something beautiful. I was not a wife beater even back in Nigeria where some people get away with it, never stole her money, I did not kill her family, impregnate another woman, so I don't really know what this ''revenge'' is all about.

That Self destructive issssh that takes over many women once they think they have power. Many can't control the power. After the divorce threat in Nigeria, she was baiting for revenge and was NOT any remorseful. She wanted the divorce, but outside Nigeria. I am sure with a bit of a clear head, you will be strategic enough to get out of this sane and less injured.

I know this might be due to the initial ''euphoria'' phase cos she is coming abroad to a big house, big car and having no limits on most things we used to manage back in Nigeria, and she thinks things are bread and butter. You would never think for a second that she is a married woman if you check her profiles on social media!

She has become even more toxic person than she ever was in Naija. Now very bossy, never backs down, always the attacker, ever ready for a fight, lazier, always on social media, communicates with me as little as possible, embarrasses me in the neighbourhood with the constant noises from our house, and finally her threats have now tripled! Madam is now so fierce that I have become the house chicken. Just within a few months of being here o! She tells me that she will show me for all the ''gra gra'' I used to do back in Nigeria. Friends advised me against bringing this woman here but I no wan hear word as per responsible family man wey I dey claim to be.

The popular threat is usually ''I will end your career''. I wasn't taking this too seriously initially, but she then started following through with the threats by constant calls to the police and other services, making spooky and baseless career ending accusations and allegations against me.

I have never been the one to first lay my hands on her, but I have spilled drinks on her before when she attacked me. My wife now gets very physical without having any element of self control, fear or restraint after the simplest argument and sometimes, she damages things out of anger. She does this so often and never hesitates to dare me to do my worst.

I discovered that she has signed up on dating sites and when I even caught her chatting about sex to a particular guy in our area, she said that it was all my fault. She did not apologise for this. She even referred to it one time after an argument that if I am convulsing like this over just a sex chat, she's waiting to see what I'd do when I see a man on top of her.

My productivity at work has declined significantly and I am now on the verge of depression. Neighbours called the police on us one time after a lot of noise from out house. She accused me of domestic violence. The police had to separate us and I was stuck at home for an extended period and could not go to work due to this. I am now being investigated for domestic violence, which is a serious crime as madam wants it and I have had to report the situation to my company! The whole thing is so messy that I am scared that I have not seen the worst yet.

I am so afraid of losing it all and returning to Nigeria broke cos I spent my last card and even racked credit card debt to bring them here hoping to pay off gradually. I still have a few years to get my citizenship and if I lose my job now, that is the end for all of us!

For now, I don't know what is going to happen to us, as this woman is so determined to cause great and irreparable damage that could ruin our lives, just to get back at me and she is being cheered on by her family and friends.

I'd advice you document the abuse and separate legally while still having part or full custody of your kids. This will enable you successfully naturalize without complications.

Talk to a divorce lawyer and separate from her. Your leaving her will not stop you from regularizing your papers. Don't worry that you brought her to wherever you are. It's not a big deal, you can cut your losses now.

Your wife is out to ruin you, you need to protect yourself legally. Don't be afraid of a divorce, it's better to be single than to marry a woman out to destroy you.

Not a tale bro. This is my life right now, I swear! I am in a very messy situation and cannot reveal my identity cos a lot of people we know are on nairaland.

You messed up big-time.
You should have recorded everything. As in planted cameras everywhere in your house. Knowing the kind of woman she is because you know it will eventually lead to this, always be on guard, you shouldn't have raised your voice at all.
Always learn to take a walk in an environment like that you know what's up.


All you can do now is tell her to withdraw all charges against you if she insists, tell her you know you can't defend yourself but God knows everything that transpired and He will fight for you. Call on God, He always answers.
Make sure you record you record your conversation with her.

Ask her the following:-

Why do you hate me so much and treat me bad?
How did I wrong you?
Why are you bent on destroying all I've worked for?
Do you know this will affect everyone including the future of the kids?

Ensure to whine her till she brags and vow she's bringing you down like she used to do.

Talk to a good lawyer explain in detail you never can tell, she may be the one that will eventually lose all.
Know that you can never lose all even if the worse come to worse. You can always start over. Make sure you have custody of your kids. At most send them to your mum.
Don't lose hope.

And when this passes the decision is yours if to stay with her or leave.

I called the police and made a proper case and she was arrested. She has been banned from the house for a month. The police advised me to talk to my lawyer and extend indefinitely if I want to. I hope to get this done ASAP. The law here does not only protect women but also protects innocent men. All you need is patience and wisdom. Thank you all for your ideas. Still several hurdles to cross but I am on the winning side for now.

My brother use ur head o,I have seen and heard countless story of how wife's make their husband go homeless because of foreign laws that favours them ,make she do the nursing for 9ja that's my advice,if it's possible make she do the nursing for private University for 9ja use ur head o,so u don't end up up among those men who start regretting o

Now very bossy, never backs down, always the attacker, ever ready for a fight, lazier, always on social media, communicates with me as little as possible, embarrasses me in the neighbourhood with the constant noises from our house, and finally her threats have now tripled! Madam is now so fierce that I have become the house chicken. Just within a few months of being here o! She tells me that she will show me for all the ''gra gra'' I used to do back in Nigeria. Friends advised me against bringing this woman here but I no wan hear word as per responsible family man wey I dey claim to be.

The popular threat is usually ''I will end your career''. I wasn't taking this too seriously initially, but she then started following through with the threats by constant calls to the police and other services, making spooky and baseless career ending accusations and allegations against me.

I have never been the one to first lay my hands on her, but I have spilled drinks on her before when she attacked me. My wife now gets very physical without having any element of self control, fear or restraint after the simplest argument and sometimes, she damages things out of anger. She does this so often and never hesitates to dare me to do my worst.

I discovered that she has signed up on dating sites and when I even caught her chatting about sex to a particular guy in our area, she said that it was all my fault. She did not apologise for this. She even referred to it one time after an argument that if I am convulsing like this over just a sex chat, she's waiting to see what I'd do when I see a man on top of her.

My productivity at work has declined significantly and I am now on the verge of depression. Neighbours called the police on us one time after a lot of noise from out house. She accused me of domestic violence. The police had to separate us and I was stuck at home for an extended period and could not go to work due to this. I am now being investigated for domestic violence, which is a serious crime as madam wants it and I have had to report the situation to my company! The whole thing is so messy that I am scared that I have not seen the worst yet.

I am so afraid of losing it all and returning to Nigeria broke cos I spent my last card and even racked credit card debt to bring them here hoping to pay off gradually. I still have a few years to get my citizenship and if I lose my job now, that is the end for all of us!

For now, I don't know what is going to happen to us, as this woman is so determined to cause great and irreparable damage that could ruin our lives, just to get back at me and she is being cheered on by her family and friends.

THE SITUATION IS SO MESSED UP!

Divorce has now been filed. I also recently got lucky as I was able to secure a restraining order when she messed up again and hit me daring me to do my worst. I called the police and made a proper case and she was arrested. She has been banned from the house for a month. The police advised me to talk to my lawyer and extend indefinitely if I want to. I hope to get this done ASAP. The law here does not only protect women but also protects innocent men. All you need is patience and wisdom. Thank you all for your ideas. Still several hurdles to cross but I am on the winning side for now.

Get all the evidence of her abuse and infidelity..and present them in court..She will end up as the loser. Most of these bitches think the law blindly support them..they don't know anything.


Thats why they say before you bring your 9ja based wife abroad..check well oh..prove her again and again and again..because the trend is that they come over..see how the system favours women.. she takes advantage of the system even more than the white women..call police for you..disrespect and cheat on you..before divorcing you leaving you with neither root nor branch...That's the pattern of many 9ja girls..especially Igbo girls..

Guys before you bring woman from Nigeria make sure she signs pre-nip agreement.its very important..most of these bitches are heavy pretenders until you bring them over, then you will see their true colours.I know what my younger bro saw in his wife hand..it was not fun..
