LordReed:The probability of winning in an odds of 1:100 lottery is at best 1%. The probability of winning two straight odds of 1:100 lottery is 0.01%. The odds of three straight odds occuring is 0.0001%. These are extremely low stake odds compared with the probability of life or the earth existing as it is now. How many odds of probability do you think made up life and the earth's existence? Your answer mathematically is impossible! 1 Like |

masterP042:I think you jumped too far into the evolutionary chain. Life started scientifically from NOTHING (not even an electron or atom existed before the sudden expansion of the universe! If nothing existed, isn't it a tall order for something to come out of nothing? BTW, I don't think anyone has ever described God as a THING/SOMETHING. He is an intelligence quite alright, a conscious being not made up of matter. His phase of existence is different from the physical one we know of, hence he can't be described as "complex" with respect to the physical world for there is no basis for comparison. Of course, it isn't difficult to see that a complex intelligence can manufacture imitations of complex artifacts. 1 Like |

Reality11:To say a few, If you don't get to see reason that God exist, just believe that Devil and dark powers exist, and they have lots of [agents] who can sacrifice anything to manipulate feeble minds through fake truths and stories to counter the supremacy of God.... but now, you don't even believe that Devil exist.... John 8:44 -( talking about the agents which can be of any form..) Ye are of you fathers the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there's no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he's a liar, and the father of it. 1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Talking about God, with some verses in Genesis1 Gen.1 [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light..... you can research about the rest.. You get, for as long as devil (the deceiver) acknowledges God's existence, he empowers many feeble and vulnerable minds to write many convincing facts to soothe people's minds just in all to rebel against God... the problem now is that... you don't believe that GOD and the deceiver (Devil) exist... 1 Corinthians 2:14 -The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of their ignorance and hardness of heart. Psalm 92:5-6 How great are your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep! The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this. Colossians 1:16–17 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Isaiah 45:7–9 I form light and create darkness; I make well-being and create calamity; I am the LORD, who does all these things. “Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit; let the earth cause them both to sprout; I the LORD have created it. Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’? Anyway, when you're ready, do the work yourself... in fact you have nothing to lose, but you will be glad you did. It's Okay!!!! I'm sorry if I don't reply further 'mentions' on this topic! |

It isn't even about the number of planets in the universe BUT the fact that a single planet earth just for no reason than a statistical odds of probability won MULTIPLE interdependent Odds of extreme high stake odds. When such occurs, that a single individual is winning several high stake odds, will you as an atheist invoke the law of probability (after all, we have almost 7billion people on earth) or an outside influence? |

LordReed:Edited: I have read the whole book, and since I'm very familiar with the Bible, Qur'an, a number of other books of history, I can compare and contrast. Skepticism is an essential attribute in this sort of research. Just like it's important to learn history from different sides to know the truth. In the book, he makes thousands of claims. I feel many of them are true as I can see evidence showing so around, in holy books, other books of history, and the likes. I can't verify many of his other claims at least not now, so I can't say whether they're true or not. One of the strongest reasons the literature is not just fabricated is the Seriot language, in which he got the revelations from god Atum, one of the many contemporaries of Jehovah and Allah, worshipped in Egypt before colonialists invaded their land to spread Christianity and Islam. He says gods and goddesses (Jehovah, Allah, Olohun, Yeshua, and thousands of others) spoke among themselves during their time on earth in Seriot. He says Yeshua (Jesus) spoke Seriot while on earth, and the original Bible was written in Seriot. According to him, Seriot is one of the ancient languages that are dead. I feel older languages like ancient Aramaic, ancient Hebrew, and Old Greek have their parentage (roots) in Seriot language. I have studied the language on his thread, https://www.nairaland.com/4567349/dialect-early-beings-seriot-language I can confirm it's a real language. Smart people would know ways to tell if a language is real or gibberish. (One hint to learn any new language: note the letters and the first 100 words used commonly in that language and memorize them.) I first came across the original thread (of the book compilation shared in my earlier comment) in 2017 and thought it was tripe since I was looking at it from the religious (Islamic) point of view. But, when I read series of other books and articles written by other authors, in 2018, I discovered religions are a scam, I had an open mind and could take time to read and critique other philosophies. The expression, "Eloi, eloi, lama sabachthanoi", in different parts of the Bible (Psalm 22:1; Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34) is in Seriot language. If you check the syntax of that language on the thread, you will agree. It could take time depending on one's level of smartness. I consider the book as an essential piece of historical literature that details the origin of tons of gods and goddesses of religions and past human species and homo sapiens. But it doesn't contain the whole truth and shouldn't be regarded as such (i.e it shouldn't be treated as a religious book), since no single book on earth is infallible and can contain the whole truths of the universe which is unimaginably big. Apart from that, the Otemic philosophy is a great one, which, he says, is inspired by god Atum. The philosophy is, worship no god, reason out everything with the head, and do good to others. Also, science is the best tool to understand God Almighty (the totality of existence), which doesn't interfere with our lives and affairs, and not meant to be worshipped but to be discovered continuously as people keep on exploring different things and worlds via science. Having read the whole book and studied the Seriot language, books and philosophies (approach to life) like Otem's are what Nigeria and Africa need to grow and develop and stop being slaves to the whites and Arabs. There are different philosophies in the world, including Muhammad's (in Islam), Jesus' (in Christianity), ATR's (in Africa), atheistic, etc. There are some truths/benefits in all of them, but the philosophies of Abrahamic religions, overall, are domineering and evil. The book (Otem's) contains the history of tons of philosophies in history. One can learn some things from the good philosophies and be wary of the bad ones that seek to enslave people (such as Christianity and Islam). The Otemic philosophy, also captured in the history of Otem in the homo Erectus era and the one in the current era (homo Sapiens), is a good philosophy that will benefit humans, being opposite in every way to those of Allah and Jehovah (Jesus). To wrap up, a smart person tries not to have a fixed philosophy in life, only noting the benefits of different philosophies. Having a fixed philosophy about life's issues could stunt ones growth in life. |

shadeyinka: Same way it's impossible for a supposed God to exist without a cause. He didn't appear from nowhere. You can't tell me nothing can come from nothing and turn around to say that God has always existed. You weren't there, I wasn't there. Neither of us knows the answer. So don't come here telling me there's a god who wants us to worship him, and whoever doesn't would be thrown into an eternal lake of fire, if you can't prove it. |

YOU ARE SO FULL OF WISDOM .quote author=onlyfacts post=89832954] Going by your theory your belief in evolution will not hold. Scientists believe the universe came about by the BIG BANG THEORY. When asked how those energy that created the universe where formed before the Big Bang, science doesn't have any conclusive answers. It simply believes those elements SOMEHOW where there leading to the Big Bang. PS: both Big Bang and evolution are both called THEORIES and not FACTS because it cannot be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Still an element of FAITH is required to believe it happened that way! Now to God existence without creation. I once had a discussion with a friend who wanted to know God's origin. He owns a pet dog. I asked him if his dog was intelligent, he said yes! I asked him if his dog could obey simple and some complex commands, he said yes! I asked him, if his son and his dog were trained from infancy in the same things, like they were both going to school who would come out tops? Who would graduate to become a lawyer, doctor, engineer etc? He said his son! I asked him why, he said because his son has higher reasoning capacity than a dog! And he was right! Truth is no matter how smart an animal is, explaining complex things that humans can easily understand will be difficult for an animal to grasp. An animal can never grasp how to build an airplane or a computer program no matter how intelligent it is or how hard you try to explain it. Of cause they are intelligent in their own way but all animals have a limit to their intelligence even man! To God we are like that dog or any other animal. Even if he tried to explain his origin we will never fully understand it, because human knowledge is limited by what he or she can experience( it is limited to the physical universe of which we still don't fully understand). God is a higher being that transcends both the physical and spiritual universe, God doesn't need to explain in details His origin, instead He says in the Bible "He has no beginning and ending". Re: For Those Saying There Is No God. by knowyaself2(m): 11:47am On May 23, 2020 |
The question is not whether theres something behind creation or not, there obviously is. The challenge is knowing what that thing is. Christians have no proof to show that it's their Jehovah, a supposedly personal entity, that created everything, apart from what their fictional bible tells them. Neither is there proof that it is any other personal entity for that matter rather than a divine, impersonal force. When people start realising that divinity is not only associated with personal entities, they will begin to understand the mystries of the universe |

Re: For Those Saying There Is No God. by Nobody: 12:44pm On May 23, 2020 |
LordReed:You can't make any informed conclusion on the literature until you read the book. You can't critique what you don't know. I have suggested that Otem publish the book on Amazon and similar public domains. Any expert that will critique it will have to read it first and check the Seriot Language. If not, they will be speaking ignorantly. I have reached my own conclusions based on my research. You can't make any reasonable conclusion on what you don't know its content. 1 Like |

This sort of research is better done independently, and you reach your own conclusions. It will take time for me to be answering your questions. masterP042:No sir! God is a spirit. A spirit is a being with a form not defined by our space, matter and time coordinate. Before you scream foul, there are things similar to that in existence. They exist, but are not defined by space, matter and time. Is God not in simple terms an extraterrestrial being?
