This is gaboon viper and it's meat has been confirmed to cure alot of internal illment.

Igbos have been eating bat since forever. They call it Usu and its sold as ngwo-ngwo, prepared with scent leaf, local mushroom (Ero Usu), palmoil and dry pepper in local restaurants, and washed down with palmwine.

I find it had to believe somethings. I never believed that some eat that to talk more of been bold to announce it.
