Why should we? I tried wishing them on the Eid el fitri post this morning and it seems the mods made it compulsory I declare myself to be a Muslim before I'm able to post... Like seriously?? Why take it that far?? Is that how it's done during Xmas?? |

tipscogreen:That's why Yoruba's are at peace with each other. They are civilized, tolerant and other tribes should follow this example. I am a northerner and I envy this practice and way of life |

I see hypocrites using one scripture to support their discriminatory policy. Jesus ate with SINNERS HOW many times? One even had to abuse an entire race just to prove a point. I wonder if this is how Jesus would have typed or responded |

Are other religions as complicated Christianity? Just imagine the kind of ideological conflict arising from a same matter as this. |

Quadranoo:those are not Christians.thats not what Jesus demanded from us.he didn't say show or accept love to a selected few.he said love your neighbours as Christ loved you.if at all your neighbour didn't want the food he shouldn't have made it obvious.ko fogbon sheyrara.at least he for accept am and even if he doesn't want to eat it,you give it to your dog codedly or give it out to someone else in true need like beggars.personally I'm always weary of collecting food from people these days but if a neighbour gives me food because they're doing Ramadan or the likes and I have reservations about it,I will collect it in love and gratitude from him, package it inside disposable pack and give to beggay because I understand that when neighbours or anybody gives you food it's not the food in itself but the effort in making it and the fact that they remember you is what I appreciate because Yorubas will say thank the person that saw you and eyed you, after all some pretend that you don't exist For a neighbour to extend a hand of love and you openly rejected it is not wisdom at all.its not about the food.afterall you have food in your kitchen, it's the love and communal spirit.africa was 1 before oyinbo came and used religion to divide us |

So some of us are so holy that we claim we can't eat moslems festive foods, but on every other day, we buy, patronize and eat meals prepared by food vendors, mama put and their likes who are also moslems. Isn't this hypocrisy? There's nothing to it, food is food and that doesn't make u less a Christian or more of a sinner. At the end of it all, what matters most is weather you have a right standing relationship with God. |

As long as the Muslims don't do same when it comes to our feast, i wonder why we should honour theirs, or is good the easiest way to compromise our believe? |

tipscogreen:According to this jargons you wrote, assuming other tribes are like the 'Yorubas', this country would be a better place to live in because our Lord Jesus Christ preached about peace. This is the kind of topic people like you should be quiet about instead of writing nonsense that compromise basic thinking. |

pstfrancis:keep on typing nonsense.. Mark 2 vs 16 and 17 .16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” you come to call the sinners too? or you are giving reasons to justify eating lambs and chickens they kill while incantating the name of allah as sacrifice.. Enter shrine too and dine with the native doctor |

That you wish to eat the food or not is choice, but don't say it is a sin, or put it on to religion, if you do you are just been ignorant. Like someone said, there is just two commandments will need to follow in life. Love for God and love for your neighbor. It's not all about reading Bible is about understanding it. Love supercedes everything. Celebrate with your friends and be happy, this life na one. |
