Thanks alot madam.

I like the fact that their commission is low. What I hate about them is their customer care, not as proactive as meristem's
That's not true. I think they have one of the best in the industry - customer care and technical support. Also do not forget that they protect your fund jealously.

I DON'T DO STOCK RECOMMENDATIONS, but if I recommend any stock and it rises by 50% after two years, consider it a bad recommendation.... undecided

If you can recommend a maximum of five stocks and four EXCLUSIVELY do 50% within 3-6 months, it's a HIT.

If I recommend the entire index e.g 10 stocks) ,... grin, and they do 50% after 2yrs, it's a VERY BAD CALL.... grin

Beware of recommendations that almost reflect the entire index... grin

Peterichy, (2.70 - 2.40)/2.7 expressed as a percentage has which ticker?

At which price are bargain hunters to strike?

I have (2.47 - 2.4)/2.47 expressed in percentage as my savings from yesterday.
Tomorrow is another day.... angry

IF you don't normally do recommendation, please allow people that do be. At least they are better since they want to carry others along. The 50% in two years as you said is a big money better than tbill and bond dem. PLEASE RECOMMEND YOUR STOCKS SO THAT WE WILL CONFIRM YOUR ASSERTIONS. I am waiting for that.

For your info. That quarter you are subtly aiming your miserable missile at , made a call within the last two months eg GSK, NEIMETH, FIDSON, AIICO, etc and they are heavily green now. Please grow up my able prof.

Note: waiting for your stock recommendations for the 50% in three months as you boasted. One love

For those in the Vitafoam bus, enjoy your loot...

The company seems to be enjoying a breakout year. The question you need to ask yourself is "why is vitafoam flying and how sustainable is it?"

Q1 saw EPS double year on year. Q2 also did the same. A closer look at the numbers however show reduced revenue in both quarters so the company didn't make more sales but is making higher profits...

Cost of sales declined significantly in both q1 and Q2 2020 as compared with 2019. Looking as the notes to the financial statements show that their raw materials were bought cheaper year on year.

A Google search shows polyurethane (derived from crude oil) as a major raw material in foam production. So you see where this is going - the massive drop crude oil price was a big blessing for vitafoam...

Expect a good q3 too as crude oil prices are still down year on year but don't expect the party to continue forever. Oil prices are rebounding.

Dont be the one holding the empty cup when the music stops....

Please have Dangote sugar declared dividend?

They had their board meeting last week Friday . we should expect the result today, at most next week.

Dansugar always delivers. I expect same dividend last year (#1.10k). This would drive the price to its 52wk high and more (FPIs are in the market) . Those that bought march low will chop 100% cap appreciation plus dividend grin grin grin

This is not a buy recommendation.

GUINNESS NIGERIA PLC

Poor operating performance; downgrade to Sell

In its recently released 9M 2020 results, Guinness Nigeria (Guinness) reported a 5.3% y/y decline in Revenue to N96.0bn from N101.4bn in 9M 2019. On q/q basis, Revenue d eclined 33.2% to N27.7bn in Q3 2020 (Jan - Mar 2020) from N41.4bn in Q2 2020. Pressured by higher excise as well as closure of on-trade channels in the final week of the quarter, the compans performance in Q3 2020 (historically one of the best quarters for Guinness) was weak with Q3 2020 Revenue and Net Income declining 17.6% and 97.2% respectively when compared with Q3 2019.

We cut our Revenue forecast for the rest of the year as on-trade channels remained shut for the first 5 weeks of Q4 2020 (Apr - Jun 2020) while ceremonial activities remain banned in many states in the country. Furthermore, while we expect lower barley price would provide some support to Gross Profit, we expect Opex and Finance cost to remain significant pressure points in Q4. We forecast a loss in the final quarter of the year which would pressure FY 2020e Net Income lower.

We cut our target price for Guinness Nigeria to N15.08/s from N32.12/s previousl y which implies a 21.5% downside to Wednesdays closing price of N19.20/s. Thus, we downgrade our recommendation to a SELL from HOLD. We have revised down our profit lines steeply and lower pricing multiples in our relative valuation models given the companys poor operating performance relative to peers. We arrive at our target price using a combination of the single stage FCFF model and Relative valuation in the ratio 60:40 with the greater weighting on the FCFF methodology.
