I had to patiently read through all the comments in this thread and mehn, the feeling is indescribable shocked

A big thank you to everyone, like you brought back memories that moved me to tears. You mentioned virtually all the movies that made my childhood memorable and mostly scary. Was it;

Living in bondage? After I watched this movie, my dad was suppose to travel that evening but I cried and begged him not to because I was scared seeing Merit's spirit.

Was it Igodo, After school hours, Blood money, Nneka the pretty serpent, Rattle Snake(I remember when Peter spotted Hahana running like a snake after stealing)

I remember the Battle of Muzanga(Their funny hair cut), Oganigwe, Glamour Girls (I remember one of the men washing his wife pants or so), State of Emergency, Love without Language (Where Sandra's boyfriend was a fighter)... How can I forget Three Witches of Ishawuru, Taboo(Kenneth Okonkwo made this movie so scary for me especially one scene where he was matcheted or so)

My God, the memories is like nothing else. cry

While going through this thread I was able to get some of these movies. You can find the links below. Although, I couldn't find some that I really wanted like Highway to heaven, Rattlesnake, When the Sunset...Anyways, do have an interesting watch!

Wow! Thank you for sharing those links. I saw the movie Igodo again and Iust confess that movie has been by far the very best movie made in Nigeria.

The Suspense! The Thriller! The deceit! The Intrigue...

Igodo simply the best of all time.

By the way, do you have the link to Rattle Snake? That is another movie I will want to see again.

NekuA:

You said you have almost all the movies. Do you have them as digital copies or you have the VCRs/CDs? Do you by any chance have any of Witches (1998) w/Liz Benson and Zack Orji, The Secret Gold Mine, Amadas, Narrow Escape 3, Obstacles or Blood Money 2?
Hello NekuA, i have been searching for a digital or other copy of The Secret Gold Mine for years now!! My mother was in it and it would be amazing to find it to watch, were you ever able to find a copy of the film? Thank you!

I don't like old movies like that. They really don't please me at all and don't bring pleasure, the picture looks low-quality, and the plot is boring, which we have seen many times. Some people find these movies nostalgic, I also have a movie that I like, but on the contrary, I do not want to rewatch it so as not to be disappointed. I prefer to keep pleasant memories of the films of my youth. And I like to watch modern movies on yesmovies, based on old stories, but with current quality and special effects, not cardboard monsters.
